"I'm sorry miss Landry. You have ovarian cancer, we need to schedule a hysterectomy." The doctor said to me, my mom put her head in her hands,
"What does this mean?" I ask,
"It means that you will not be able to bare children." He said, looking at me with a sorrowful look, his golden eyes reminded me of Edward, well duh Meadow, it's his dad.
"Let's do this as soon as we can." I say, my eyes filling up with tears.
"Alright, I'll go talk to my nurses and we will get everything together." He said walking out,
My mom came over and hugged me tightly as I started crying.

"I have ovarian cancer." I say in the basement of Eric's house.
My friends came and hugged me,
"I have to have surgery this week to get a hysterectomy. This means, I'll never be able to have my own children." I say, "well, I can always adopt." I say as I feel Jackie playing with my hair.
"I'm sorry Mead. We will be here every step of the way for you." Jackie said, I smiled and nodded, "Thanks Jackie."

"Hello?" I answered the phone,
"My dad told me." Edwards soft voice flooded through the phone, "I thought it was supposed to be confidential." I ask, "well, he does have an office in our house. He didn't really tell me, I just listened." He said,
"Well yeah, Tuesday I'm going in for surgery. Yay me." I say, "it'll be okay Meadow. I promise, you'll be okay." He said, "Edward." I say, "what?" He asked, "do you want to hang out again after my surgery this weekend?" I asked, "sure Meadow. We can go to the drive in again." He said,
"Sure. Well, I gotta go, talk to you later. Bye Edward." I say and wait for him to say bye back before I hang up.

Tuesday Morning, my mom and I drove to the hospital, I was wearing my pajamas.
We checked in and waited to get called into the back. Once we had, I was handed a hospital dress and socks. I changed in the bathroom and came out, I laid on the bed and the nurses stuck an IV needle in my arm and did everything else before leaving my room.
I fell asleep waiting for Doctor Cullen.

I woke up in my hospital room with a numbing feeling in my lower stomach.
"They put you under anesthesia when you fell asleep. I'll be right back, don't move." My mom said and walked out, probably to get Doctor Cullen.
He walked in, my mom behind him,
"How are you doing Meadow?" He asked, writing stuff down on his clipboard,
"Fine. I'm just numb." I say, still a little droopy.
"Well, I'll come back in about an hour, hour and a half. To check on you." He said giving me a smile before walking out of the room.
