I drove to school after picking up Fez and walked inside with my friends. I walked up to my locker and noticed a sunflower taped on my locker. I blushed and smiled as I detached it from my locker and turned my head, locking eyes with Edward.
"Thank you." I say after I walked over to him. I stood on my toes and reached up to give him a kiss on the cheek. My lips were cold as soon as they touched his skin.
"You have pretty eyes." I say, curiously looking deep into his eyes. He shut his eyes and sighed, "look Meadow. It was fun while it lasted. But I don't think we should be friends, or anything really." He said, I backed up from him.
"Are you serious?" I ask, he nods and walks away.
I frown but shake my head and walk to my class.

I walked to the cafeteria, I was meeting my friends at our table.
I walked into the cafeteria and became face to face with Edward. He stared at me in sorrow but I just scoffed and walked passed him and too my regular table, sitting next to Hyde and Donna.
"Hey." I say as I sat down, "hey Mead." Donna said, "I thought you would be with Edward? I thought your date went well?" Jackie said sitting across from me.
"Eh, it doesn't matter anymore." I say, shrugging, Hyde and Kelso then started up a conversation about going to smoke tonight on the water tower.
"I'm down. I just bought some more anyway." I say stealing some chips from Hyde.

I was now home waiting for my friends to call me to say they were ready to go. I was just eating some chips and watching tv when the phone rang.
I quickly picked it up,
"Hello?" I say,
"Meadow." He says, I sigh, "Edward why are you calling me?" I say, "I just want to talk." He said,
"alright, about what?" I ask, "look, I didn't mean it in a bad way. Just, you'd be safer without me." He said, "Edward, what does that even mean?"
"I can't tell you, you just have to trust me." He said, I scoffed, "well, you not telling me anything doesn't make it easy to trust you." I say,
"It doesn't matter, just... if you didn't like me like that you could have just told me. I have to go." I say hanging up and sighing before the phone rings again.
"Hello?" I answer, "hey Mead, it's Eric. We are about to leave. I'm picking up Jackie and Kelso, can you get Hyde and Fez?" He asked,
"Yeah, I'm leaving now." I say we hang up, I grab my keys and my bag, which has my weed in it.

"So what happened with Edward?" Jackie asked, "we aren't right for each other I guess." I shrug taking another hit from my blunt.
"What happened?" Donna asked sitting next to me,
"I guess we didn't have a good time." I say shrugging,
"It doesn't matter. Now, tell me who Hyde was with last weekend?" I say to get another conversation started, which worked as my friends laughed and told me.
