Your first day of classes was over and you were already being called to...
"Udai (Name)." Your homeroom teacher announced from the other side of the classroom. "To the Vice Principal's Office."
The other kids in the class stared at you fearfully as if you had done something horrible. You were one hundred percent sure that there were going to be rumors about you circulating around tomorrow. Who knows, maybe even something about being a delinquent.
"Seriously?" You muttered under your breath as you scratched the back of your head. "This sucks."
You scrambled to put your belongings in your school bag and headed into the hallway.
Once you arrived at the door—which had a shining "Vice Principal" sign on it—you couldn't help but sigh.
Knocking twice, you stated your name in order to have your presence be known.
"Come in~" A disgustingly sweet voice called out before you turned the cold door knob and entered the foreign room. "Welcome Udai-san!" The Vice Principal greeted you ecstatically.
"Hello." You bowed at an appropriate angle and then quickly raised your head.
The older male sat up straight. His piercing gaze meant nothing but business. "I'm sure you know why you've been called here?"
"I actually don't know the reason, sir." You clenched your teeth. 'It couldn't be because I'm-'
His snobbish voice interrupted your thoughts. "It's because you're the younger sister of Udai Tenma, the Little Giant."
'Ahhhhh.' Disappointment fell over your features. This was exactly what you were trying to avoid.
"Other schools refer to our volleyball team as the Flightless Crows." He informed you with obvious distaste.
"Yeah, but I'm not sure what that means for me, sir." You stated bluntly, taking a deep breath.
It was happening.
People were associating with you based off of your brother's popularity.
"I would like you to watch over the team." The old man smirked widely. "I've heard many stories about the Little Giant's Miracle sister. You're going to help us bring the crows back, aren't you?"
'Oh man...' You thought.
Those darn rumors...
You tried to guess which one was the foundation of his reasoning.
The one where you were a medical genius? Or how about the one that refers to you as a lucky charm?
'If she cheers for your team, you'll undoubtedly win!' They would say.
You've only been going here for a day, but you were beginning to despise your reputation with adults.
"I'm going to have you be in charge of first-aid and medical assistance to the volleyball team." The male smirked confidently.
Sure, as a child you lived with relatives who were doctors so you could recognize signs and symptoms of athletic injuries, but you weren't a doctor.
'Ahhh. So he's going based off of both rumors.' Your eyes rolled. "I'm not entirely sure-"
"I know you'll do us proud." The Vice Principal gave you a dark smile before calling in another student. There was no room for you to object. "Shimizu Kiyoko-san, please show Udai-san to the gym."
As soon as he stated the girl's name, the door gently opened. Right when you turned around, a beauty in glasses appeared behind you.
"Hello." The girl stated. Her exciting pink-rimmed glasses didn't match her cool-girl exterior.
