"Aaaaand we're back again." You stated as Kuroo walked up to you and enveloped you in a "welcome-back" hug.

'A hug this time?!' Sugawara was always shocked with the various advances made on you.

"I heard you asked for me again, Kuroo." You sighed deeply.

"Ask and you shall receive!" The male laughed haughtily. "You're our temporary manager this time and the next time you guys come back to Kanto!"

You sighed. "Alright then captain, what are we doing first today?"

The male grabbed your hand with his own and began walking. As Kuroo filled you in, Yachi nervously watched you being dragged away.

"I-I-Is that okay?!" In her eyes, she saw that as kidnapping.

"Yeah." Shimizu nodded. "They always ask for (Name), and since we have three managers, it's fine."

"She's scouting out the enemy." Hinata whispered, suddenly manifesting behind them. "That's what Tanaka-senpai told me."

"No." Sawamura shook his head. He overheard their conversation and decided to join in. "It's a noble sacrifice."

Takeda-sensei agreed. "We have to do what we have to in order to keep coming back."

Yachi was starting to get nervous. "Would I ever-"

Shimizu rested a hand on her shoulder and reassured her with a small smile. "They only want (Name). She's built a strong bond with them, so it can't be helped."

Coach Ukai scratched the back of his head. "We can't help it if Coach Nekomata constantly asks for her. We're at a loss too."

"Poor (Name)!" Yachi was shedding tears for your sake.

The next day you were stuck following Nekoma around.

"Lev." You successfully gained the boy's attention. "Stop slouching!"

"Ah!" He yelped as you slapped his back.

"That's not good for your future health!"

After a few minutes, the boy heard his name being called once more.

"Lev! Block with your fingers spread apart and your arms close together, not the other way around!" Kuroo scolded.

"You two are too mean..." Haiba teared up. At this point, he was missing Yaku's slightly kinder lectures about receiving.

"Those two are scary, huh?" Yamamoto gulped nervously.

"I'm just glad that (Name) treats us as if we were her own team, you know?" Yaku stated. "She doesn't sugar coat anything."

"I admit that I like that part of her too." Kai smiled as he watched Haiba run to you while whining about something Kuroo said.

Before you knew it, a month had passed and you were back at Shinzen High School for your last trip to Tokyo before the qualifiers.

"Good job Lev! You must have been practicing a lot this past month!" You gave the giant a high-five as he made his way off the court.

His eyes were glowing. "(Name) complimented me! Hey, Kuroo-san! Our manager complimented me!" Haiba began bragging to all of his teammates.

"She always tells me I'm good." Kozume stated with a bored expression.

Those six words knocked his confidence level back down a bit.

"Time to practice serves, Lev!" You called out. "Everyone's busy doing their own thing today so I'll be working with you."
