My One and My Only Cloud Strife x reader

Another Mundane Monday

A young blonde male grunted with effort as the weight of the buster sword was finally getting to him.

"This was a terrible idea," he thought "Sephiroth could have very easily killed me how come he hadn't?"

Sephiroth beamed a most malicious smile. Licking his lips he dashed toward the young blonde, blade at the ready.

"Say goodbye Cloud, to everything that was and will be." "Soon, this planet will be reduced to nothing more than rubble" Sephiroth gritted.

"Never!" Cloud cried.

A deafening crash could be heard as metal struck metal, blade with blade.

The two fought valiantly Cloud caught in Sephiroth's lock.

Cloud being exhausted by the heavy use of materia, failed to complete his attack.

Sephiroth took this opportunity to strike down his pursuer. With one deft stroke, Cloud was left with a gargantuan gash on his torso.

Cloud fell to the ground gasping for air. Sephiroth's blade pointed at his throat.

"I will never kneel down to the likes of you ever again Sephiroth-"

"______!" "Do you hear me?" "_____!" "Pay attention in class!"

The professor's statement caused many of the students to snicker. "______'s off in her own world per usual." 

Your professor shot a death glare at the students 

"May we please continue?" She commanded. 

"So as we all have learned, Cloud Strife and AVALANCHE have defeated the evil Sephiroth and freed the city of Midgar from despair..." She droned on and on about the 'supposed heroes' while you dreamt of Cloud, with his beautiful blue, yet dangerous mako gaze. 

"Hey!______!" A young Cloud shouted. 

"I'm going to join SOLDIER come this spring," Cloud said with a smile. 

"Well, Me too!" You stood up next to Cloud and began doing a series of awkward about faces and marches. 

Both you and Cloud fell on the floor laughing uncontrollably. 

"Someday, I want to be as strong as Sephiroth," Cloud said smiling.

"Ditto." You say. 

After much training, Both you and Cloud became first rank soldiers. Everything was just as you had envisioned it as a young child. 

One day, You noticed Cloud was gone from his barrack and that was the last you saw of him.
