The doorbell tinkled as you opened the door to 7th Heaven.
"Welcome to 7th Heaven!" Tifa chimed.
You walked up to the bar with all your schoolbooks in hand.
"Hey ____!" Tifa cheered. "What's up?"
"Same-o, same-o." You sighed. "My professor's not too merciful right now."
"That sucks," Tifa said apologetically. "Any way I can help?" She said while wiping down the bar.
"Other than calculus, I think I'll be fine." You say.
"I'm not that great at calculus." Tifa sighed now sliding a drink to a patron on the far side of the bar.
"It'll be fine Tifa don't stress."
Suddenly, the door swung open and a boy with spiky blonde hair with mako eyes walked towards you.
"A soldier." You thought
"I need to speak with you _____ ."
"Umm, Okay." You stammer.
"What's a soldier want from me?" you asked yourself.
"Name's Cloud." "Cloud Strife."
"C-cloud?" You stutter. "Is it really you?"
"It's been forever since we last saw each other." You say on the verge of tears.
"Shhh ____." "It's okay, what's wrong?" He asked with genuine concern in his voice.
"Nothing it's just that..." A single tear fell down your cheek.
"Where'd you go?" "Ever since the day your barracks were empty-"
"I joined AVALANCHE." Cloud said. "I think it would be smart for you to join our ranks."
"Anti-Shinra terrorist group." You assessed.
"What's Cloud doing there?" " I thought he would be with Shinra but, I guess not..." You thought to yourself.
"Shinra is evil." You say not noticing that you spoke in unison with Cloud.
The two of you smiled.
"Why don't we grab a drink to celebrate you joining us?" Cloud suggested.
"Sure!" You chirped.
Time skip to after closing time
Ding, Ding, Ding the sound of a fork hitting a wine glass resonated around the small bar.
"I have an announcement to make!" Cloud shouted.
"_____ is to join our ranks and become one of us."
Copious amounts of cheering and applauding followed the announcement.
"Dammit Cloud!" Barrett shouted over the din. "How the hell can we trust an ex-SOLDIER? for all I care, she could still be a loyal little doggy to Shinra."
"I've known her as long as I've known Tifa. When I left, she left." "She has the same beliefs as I about Shinra."
"Alright then." Barrett sighed while crossing his arms we'll see how she does on her first mission."
