We Don't Care - Sigala & The Vamps
I wake in someone's arms. I open my eye's to see Caleb carrying me to his car. Since mine was dropped off at home by Jace because he lives near by.
It seems like I fell asleep again I can't believe I dreamt that I kissed Caleb,even if it happened count less times at my house. Tomorrow's my birthday. I think Im just gonna go out with the girls.
....
The next morning I wake up to Caleb opening the door to reveal a tray with breakfast. "Happy birthday, Zii." He smiles as he hands me the breakfast. I kiss his lips and smile as I pull away. "Thanks." I can't help but smile.
I finished up my breakfast and placed the tray on the table. I get up and head to the bathroom to take a shower.
I have a full day planned. I climb out of the shower and walk out of the bathroom. I change into black ripped skinny jeans, Caleb's hoodie and black heel boots.
I walk out of the house with Caleb and it like 12p.m. We climb into Caleb's car and drive off.
We pull into The box club for teenagers. We walk in and spot our friends. They all say happy birthday and we all dispersed and mixed with different people. I stood in the area were everyone wasn't interested in standing. I don't drink so I didn't want to mixed with that type of thing.
Daniel walked over to me and he looked upset about something.
"What up?"
"It's nothing really..." He shrugs it off.
"You know you can't lie to me Danny."
"I don't like the fact that your with Caleb, we were happier when we were together."
"Danny, that was the past. We don't want to re-live what had already happened in the past, I'm sorry but you have to move on, and we weren't happy in our relationship." I state.
"What about her?" He asks, changing the subject.
"She's cute go talk to her." I shove him forward. He walks over to her and starts talking. They laugh about something he said.
I feel someone hugging me from behind. I slam my head into the person's face and turn around. To find Caleb holding his nose.
"OHMYGOD, IM SO SORRY." I'm in shock of what I did. "It's okay, you were defending yourself and that's good." He regain his composure and hugs me. I hug him back.
The party ended and we drive home. We pull up in my driveway. Caleb and our friends we're gonna chill and watch movies at my house. We walk towards the door and unlock the door. We walk in and turn on the lights. We walk towards the dining room to find someone sitting there.
"Happy birthday, Zoey." I know that voice from anywhere. The girls and I freeze. Is that... It can't be he's dead. No..that's impossible. "Nathaniel...?" I can't think straight. "Hey." He greets like there's nothing bad going on. "I thought you were dead, we all did." The girls look at Nathaniel in shock.
"Well, suprise." He smirks. Is he flipping kidding me. He's smirking in this serious situation. "When...how...where...who...what?" I ask.
"When. Is this week. How. I faked my death. Where. In my house of course. Who. That was a dummy. What. I'm alive." He answers all my questions unfazed.
I walk over to sit on the couch. "Where's my replacement?" He asks cold laced in his tone. The boys walk into see Nathaniel sitting on the couch opposite our couch. The guys greet him casually like they don't know shit. "Who's this?" They ask in sink. "Um..this is...umm." I can't form words. "I'm Nathaniel, Zoey's boyfriend." He introduces himself. "What do you mean, mate?" Caleb questions eyebrows raised. "I'm. Zoey's. Boyfriend." He slows down so that Caleb can catch up. "That's impossible, I'm her boyfriend." Caleb is looking at me. If looks could kill.
"Caleb, don't be mad at Zii, she didn't know he was alive. We all thought he was dead." Alex interjects. "Dead, what do you mean dead!" Caleb is practically yelling. "Everyone leave. Now!" Everyone walks out and shouts the door behind them. Including Nathaniel.
"What this shit, am I just your fling, your rebound?" He questions me. "I.." "Answer me!"
"I thought he was dead okay, how was o supposed to know he was alive. For all I knew he was dead. His parents told me he was dead." Tears are running down my face. "Then why is he here?!" " I don't know!" I can't help but feel hurt. " I can't believe you used me." He grabs his stuff and walks out the door not even looking back at me.
I drop to the ground and cry.
