Matcha's POV

Papalit palit ang tingin ko sa gate at sa cellphone ko, hoping to see Triston already. I've been standing outside for 10 minutes at alam ko na mag sisimula na ang party because most of the guest are rushing inside to glimpse at the debutante. I tap my foot on the cemented floor as the wind blows its coldest at this second. Hawak-hawak nang mahigpit ang bag na dala ko, I see Triston talking to the guard.

Nag simula na akong mag lakad and when his eyes landed on me ay agad niyang pinabukas ang maliit na pinto ng gate. He goes out with his heavy breathing making me feel anxious. "Here," I said, handing him the bag I am holding. "All of the things that needed are in there—tie, tuxedo, pants, shoes. Give it to him and tell him na isa sa mga kapatid niya ang nag bigay," I told him.

"Also, don't forget to tell him that their dinner is Adobong Manok. Thank you," I said and turn around. Jordi likes Adobong Manok especially if his Mom cooked it, and believe me, that's the only dinner he's not willing to share.

I was about to walk nang hawakan ni Triston ang braso ko kaya lumingon ako sakaniya. "Jordi needed more than this," he said. The guards looks at me from up and down, maybe wondering why I'm wearing an out of the color themed and barely put an effort fixing my hair.

"What happened to him?"

The ceiling is 10 feet tall with it covered with flowers and the arrangements at the tables are to die for. "Wait here," he said, leaving me without even waiting for my decision.

My eyes close several times before I roam it around again. Ang expensive tignan ng mga tao. The front stage where Althea will be sitting is filled with flowers and big letters spelling her name. Malapit na rin akong mag debut and I doubt it na ganito ang gagawin nina Mommy. Either way, I'm fine with any decision they'll make. I admire things like these but I'm not a fan. Hindi ako fan ng gastos and can barely or rather hesitant to spend 300+ pesos from things I really need.

"Miss? Invited ka?" Kinabahan ako nang sumilip ang babae sa unahan ko. Biglang nag dry ang lalamunan ko and can't seem to process what to answer. I hold the lower part of my shirt as I rub both of the tip of my shoes together. Tinignan niya ako nang taas-baba before tapping her nails on the glass of wine she's holding. Suddenly, someone grabbed me on my shoulder kaya agad ko itong tinignan.

An unfamiliar guy press his eyeglasses up while holding a can of beer before opening his mouth to answer. "She's my guest," he said. His eyebrow seems to be stuck because of how it is formed. His pushed black hair suddenly moves nang tignan niya ako causing me to be pulled back to what is really happening.

"Mr. Kim, I never took you for someone like this," she said. "Does it bother you, Ms. Chan? If it does, you can walk away now. We'll leave anyway," Hindi kalayuan ang edad ko at ng lalakeng 'to but he looks like a respected person. But the way he answers is also unbelievably unrespectful and cold. The woman let out a scoff and walks away from where we are.
