After being held in a psychiatric ward, of course she made friends. For she was confident but she wasn't there for that. No, she had to remind herself. She got too excited from the mania. She was there to process everything. It was as though she was a dainty bird, trying to escape out of the cage but it was a constant battle to try to find the key. Oh no I can't go back there she would think and knew it wouldn't happen again for she would never let herself become so low and disorientated. Realisation was very important for her in that moment when sitting next to a friend she made, writing a story about herself and the battle she fought.  She feltas though the voices would never leave her alone and sleep would cease to come but it did... Eventually. She became persistent with herself, eager to help herself now. Denial was a powerful thing, never fall into its false sense of security. It will grip onto you and it won't let go unless something happens. Until breaking point arrives. Two weeks later she was released and felt different because now she had the world in her palm and reality was in view. She would never lose sight of it again.
