"khloe. baby wake up." i say as i lightly push her.
"hmm." she hums
"wake up babe." i say once again and this time she gets up.
"good morning." she says rubbing her eyes.
"good morning." i say as i get up and put on a shirt while she walks to the bathroom.
"babe." i shout
"huh?" she replies.
"mia called saying that her and isabelle are having a girls day, and they want to know if your coming?" i ask her while she brushes her teeth.
"yeah what time?" she questions
"2:00." i reply
"what time is it right now?" she asks.
"1:30." i reply and her eyes get big. i knew she was to cause a scene.
"what! why didn't you tell me before!?" she says spitting out the toothpaste and i shrugged.
"ugh. grayson you're going to be the death of me." she says walking out of the bathroom and i follow her.
"who do you have to impress?" i question her.
"the girls! i haven't seen them in a long time! now out!" she says as she shuts the door on me.
"well i'm going out!" i shout to her and i heard her shout back okay.

as i arrived at the jewelry store i saw a familiar face. as i continued to walk the person did the same and looked and saw that girl i had sex with the other night, what would she be doing in a jewelry store?
"hi stranger." she says opening the door for both of us.
"what do you want?" i ask, it came out harsh but i just wanted to know what she wanted from me.
"i want round two." she winks.
"no." i say and roll my eyes.
"whatever. what are you here for anyway?" she asks and i look at her.
"oh i get it, your getting something for you "girlfriend"." she says putting air quotes on girlfriend.
"how can i help you guys today?" the person at the counter asks.
"we're not together." i assure.
"oh. how can i help you." he asks me.
"i'm looking for a ring, like a promise ring." i say looking down at the jewelry.
"i've got the one for you." he says grabbing a box from behind the counter. he opened the box and pulled out the ring. it was rose gold with a rose gold diamond shaped like a heart.
"that's the one." i said and he nodded and rung it up for me. as i pulled out my wallet my phone started to ring. it was khloe before i answered i looked at the time. 4:05. i was her that long.
"hello." i say.
"hey baby, where are you?" she asks over the phone. damn it i wanted to be home before her.
"i'm on my way, how was it." i ask while handing my card to the man.
"it was so fun! i got caught up and did you know isabelle got married!" she exclaims. the man hands me back my card, i take it from him and put back in my wallet.
"no baby, i didn't know that." i say as i take the bag with the ring in it and walk out of the store.
"how far away are you?" she asks.
"i'm about ten minutes away." i say pulling out of the parking lot.
"okay. i guess i'll see you in ten minutes then. love you." she says.
"love you too." i say and hang up the phone.

"babe! i'm home!" i shout as i shut the door.
"hey baby." she says running up to me and hugging me and i hugged her back. i pull a blind fold out of my pocket and tie it around her face.
"babe? what are you doing?" she asks while giggling a little bit.
"shh. you'll see." i say while leading her to the couch.
"okay." she says and bites her lip. i've been planning this promise ring thing for a while now. i grabbed some candles and lit them up. i placed the candles around the coffee table and put rose petals on the table too. i then put the ring in the center.
"okay." she says as she unties it and puts her hand over there mouth as she looks at table in front of her.
"g-grayson what is this?" she asks.
"khloe. i promise to always love you, no matter the circumstances. so as proof that i'll always love you i want to give you this ring." i say as i hand her box with the ring in it.
"grayson. i love you too but.." she begins to say as she lightly takes the box from my hands and examines the ring.
"but what?" i question her.
"i think me and you both know that this relationship is not healthy, and to be honest i don't think i can fully accept this until we both change our ways." she says lowly as she hands me back the ring.
"w-what?" i ask as i take the ring back from her.
"i'm sorry grayson." she apologizes. i get up and blow out all the candles. i walk towards the kitchen and grab a glass and fill it up with water.
"we just need time." she says coming up from behind me giving me a hug.
"i know babe." that's the only thing i could say and she kissed my cheek.
"i'm going to take a shower. want to join?" she asks and i shake my head. i could see at the corner of my eye that she was disappointed but i was just in a mood.
i took another sip of my water and walked upstairs. i walked into our room and grabbed my keys. i walked back down the stairs and walked right out the door.
