10. Nothing hurts like heartbreak (Frank X Reader X Gerard)

This was written by Brianna as well but it has a backstory..I had requested this cuz my girlfriend at the time (two months ago)had left me..not left me per-say but none of my band has heard from her in two months and we're praying she's safe..we all live in different states except for Brianna and myself so we have no way of finding her..anyways let's get on with it cuz y'all don't want my sob story!

Frank, Gerard and Y/N have been best friends since the start. They met in pre-school; they saw Y/N sitting sadly by their self playing with some blocks, and decided to introduce themselves. And ever since that day, they've been the closest of friends. Over time however, both frank and Gerard caught feelings for Y/N, results in fights and such. However today Frank decided it was enough, and he would finally confess to Y/N.
Frank hesitantly walked up to
Y/N's house holding flowers behind him, his palms sweaty.(knees weak arms are heavy there's vomit on his sweater already, moms spaghetti-)
With shaky hands, he rang the door bell, and waited. Lucky for him, Y/N answered the door. "Oh hi frank! What are you doing here?" Y/N asked innocently tilting her head, and frank slightly blushed from how cute his crush was acting. He looked down "I-I just wanted to talk a-about something..heh.." "uhm..sure..! Are you okay frank?" Y/N asked in a concerned tone.
"Yeah I'm fine...uhm..well Y/N you see...uh.." Y/N waited patiently for frank to tell her.
"Well..Y/N...I..l-like you okay?! And I have for a long time!! For years!!! So..so w-will you uh..go out with me..?" Frank said shutting his eyes closed and taking out the flowers. He nervously waited for a response. Y/N was speechless, trying to find words to say "frank...I-I..like you too..."
Frank opened his eyes and stepped back in shock "w-wait, you do!!?" "Yeah heheh..I have for some time.." Y/N said shyly looking at the ground and blushing. Then there was a silence. Not an awkward one, but a more comfortable one. Frank grabbed Y/N and kissed her passionately. Meanwhile gee was looking for frank, and spotted him with Y/N "oh hey-"
He realized they were kissing. Gee's eyes filled with tears, how could his best friend do this to him? Gee ran away crying.
Y/N and frank pulled away from each other, and frank realized what he just did
"I uhh..I'll see you tomorrow!!"
Y/N giggled. "Okay see you tomorrow!! We can hang out with gee?" Y/N yelled back. Frank stopped. "Shit" he mumbled. He didn't think of how Gerard would react to him and Y/N being in a relationship! He knew how much gee likes Y/N, but he agreed anyways. "Uhm..uh s-sure! Bye!" Frank said running away. He couldn't stop thinking of what gee would say that night, and he even dreamt about it

The next morning, he slowly got up then remembered that him and Y/N and..gee..are going out
And frank knew that he was screwed.
Frank picked up Y/N, then nervously walked to gees house to ask him if he wanted to hang out with him. They knocked on gees door, and he answered. He looked up, and froze when he saw frank and Y/N, remembering what happened. "Oh h-hi guys.." he painfully said. "Hi gee! We were wondering if you wanted to go out with us today?" Y/N asked. Gee and frank locked eyes and gee gave frank a death stare. Frank was confused as to why, but he brushed it off. "Sure." Gerard said coldly. "Okay let's go then!" Y/N said, starting to walk away with them.
So they hung out for hours, gee not enjoying any second of it. Everytime gee felt happy, he remembered that the one he loved the most didn't love him back, and the feeling of happiness was replaced with dread.
"So gee...Me and frank wanted to tell you something..right frank?" Y/N asked, looking over at frank briefly. "Uh..yeah.."
"Soo...me and frank are dating!"
Yikes. It had felt like someone stabbed Gerard in the stomach, then the heart, and kicked him to the side. He looked away and tried his best to hold back the tears..oh that's great..I'm so happy that..uh...
then gee remembered. He remembered what such pain he felt, and how it was all because of frank. He's been heartbroken, Y/N was the only one who understood him besides frank, but now it just wouldn't be the same. "That's...no. That's TERRIBLE!!" Y/N looked at gee in shock, and frank in guilt. "W..what do you mean gee? Isn't that great??" Y/N said slowly. "NO! IVE LIKED YOU FOR YEARS Y/N..YEARS!! AND YOU GO FOR FRANK..." Y/N stood there in shock. "W...WHY CANT YOU JUST LOVE ME BACK!??!"
Gee screamed, and a whole bunch of eyes were on him. He looked around, and ran away crying with the most heartbroken look on his face. Frank called out to him, but gee just ran into the distance, leaving Y/N and frank to feel so much guilt.
"Maybe it's best we go home.." Y/N said sadly. "Y-yeah."
