Ria's P.O.V

After class, I decided to sit here on the bench outside the school while waiting for my best friend's class to be over since I have nothing to do anymore. Pen favored me to wait for her, so I did. I checked the time on my phone and there are only three minutes left before her class is gonna end. I sighed and just waited patiently.

While waiting, some random two guys walked towards me and spoke. "Umm.. h-hey, Ria! Why are you still here?" the guy who's taller with a messy black hair slash black piercings on his other ear, asked with an embarrassed smile on their face, I'm sure it's pretty obvious for me that they talked to me out of nowhere just to flirt and I'm used to it every day.

"Waiting for Peneloppe," I answered simply with a slight smile.

"Oh, okay. Well.. see you tomorrow then, Ria." the other guy with a blonde brown hair said before waving at me goodbye and left, but I didn't wave back.

So yeah. My name is Ria Avery, 18 years old girl living my college life here in Wouston University (which sucks). Everything here sucks! Too many issues about me dating a lot of guys since everyone here considers me as the prettiest girl in the whole campus (which I don't prefer as a true statement). Oh please! Someone tell those people that I'm living my life single, but it really annoys me that a lot of guys are after me just because of my looks. It's just gibberish, to be honest. Living like a goddess? Most people want to be pretty, but they don't know the outcomes. In my opinion, I just wish to be ugly because I don't want much attention to these people around me, making issues about me that aren't true.

Speaking of my boring life, let me tell you about someone.

Travis Smith. You're probably thinking he's a heartthrob guys with a lot of girls chasing him. You're also probably thinking Travis is a human being that girls are ready to drool and chase. He's a nerd. Nerd doesn't really sound an insult if you think of that as a compliment, right? With his big round glasses, books that he's always carrying, and outfits that are always simple. Wondering why I'm talking about him? Travis.. is actually my type. More like my crush? More like someone I adore? Or more like someone, I like. Those words I said doesn't really have any differences. In short, I like Travis.

Someone like him. Quiet, one-goody student, always paying attention in class, always the top in every class, cute-- oh my god! The more I think about it, the more I like him. /sigh/

The sad fact is that he doesn't like me back. I tried talking to him a lot of times but he's just cold around me. He doesn't want to talk to me and it's pretty obvious when it comes to that. I kinda feel bad about it, but it doesn't matter as long as I still see him on the campus. Even though I only stare at him far away in the cafeteria, it just doesn't matter.

"What are you smiling about?" I heard Pen's voice which made me jump a little bit. I quickly remove my smile as soon as I felt it. "Thinking about foods," I answered as we both walk outside the school together with a lot of chitchats.
