Mom was about to say the answer, but I stopped her.
"I- I- I know..! I promise to wash the dishes everyday! I promise to follow all your instructions! I promise to help you garden! I promise to help you--"
"What are you talking about??" She hit me on the head and I just pout and sigh. "I thought you're not gonna agree.. sorry." I whispered as I look down the floor. Sorry Pen, but I'm not--
"I was about to agree, but nevermind! It's better if you should just help me with the chores." She answer and I tilt my head up to look at my mom with a shock expression. She was just smiling while cooking the food.
"You're agreeing?? W-wait, I take that back~" I said with a sweet voice.
"I'm just kidding, you can go at the party since your grades are high enough and that satisfies me. Just remember the rules when going to that party! No drinking, don't do something stupid. Understand, Ria? I'm trusting you." She gave me a meaningful and serious look before I suddenly hug her tight with a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, mom! I promise! I promise won't do anything stupid! I won't drink!" I smile widely. I can't explain this happiness and joy that starts building up me when I heard mom's answer. It's a yes! I can go to the party tomorrow with Pen!
"I'll start fixing the table for dinner!" I said, still with a wide smile.
"I won't be picking you up tomorrow, Ria. I have a meeting with some clients tomorrow." Mom said and I just nod quickly.
I can't wait to tell Pen tomorrow!
