I'm inside the court with a lot of students (mostly senior students) to watch Nathan's practice with his teammates in basketball. It's almost night and I got confused because of how many students were still here at this hour. I notice that most of them were girls. Good thing there are still a few available sits that me and Pen and take.

While walking towards the empty bleachers with Pen, someone called my name.

"Ria!"

I turned around and saw Nathan walking towards me with a heavy breathing, wearing a basketball jersey. His face is full of sweats and it's obvious that he was just practicing just by now. I showed him a smile.

"Hey," I said. "I'm sorry that I just got here this moment. My professor called me earlier--"

"It's okay, at least you showed up." He cut me off and answered with a grin. I just roll my eyes at him and chuckle after.

"Hi, Nathan!" Pen said as she walks towards us. Nathan just wave at her.

"By the way. Wait for me until my practice is done." He said and I wrinkled my forehead. "Why? Are you still going to do anything after this?" I ask.

"Nathan!" I heard his coach call him on the other side.

"I should get going. Sit down and just watch, okay Ria? Don't you dare escape." Nathan said with a threat on his voice and I was about to call him but nevermind. I'm just gonna ask him later.

We headed near the bleachers and find ourselves a sit.

"Hey, Ria. I need to go after a a few minutes because mom ordered me to. Is it okay if you go home alone?? I'm a bit guilty, but I really need to go home after a few minutes.." Pen whispered near my ear since it's too loud here and the game's already starting.

"Don't worry, it's okay. I can go home alone." I just smiled at her and she smiled back. We watch the practice together with lots of cheers and noises.
