Chapter 28

"Bye, Ria! See you tomorrow at the party." Pen waved a goodbye to me along with James who's gonna be escorting her home tonight. We're all together outside the mall as our bonding moment ends and ready to go home. I took a look at Nathan who's just standing beside me, looking at me with blank expression. I just raise my eyebrows at him.

"What are you looking at? I'm going to go home." I started walking away from him, but I notice that he's still following me behind my back.

"I'm going to go home too." He said.

"Where's your car? Aren't you going to use that?" I ask.

"My car's in the house."

I pause and turn around to look at him. "Seriously?" I said as I roll my eyes at him and started walking again with a sigh. "You could take the bus." I whisper.

"It seems to me that you don't want to be with me." He said and I just sigh heavily.

"You said that you don't want to escort me home when Travis was the one who brought me home that day." I said.

"Yeah. We're just heading the same direction and heading the same village. Isn't that obvious and explainable?" 

I froze, but still continued on walking. I bit my lip from what he said. He has a point though.. Jeez! I'm not gonna talk right now.

"Um.. I know we live in a same village, but I don't know where you live here," I said as both stop in front of my house. He just shrugged. "Are you going to go home now?" I said with a pout.

"As long as I see you go inside first," He said with a small smile. I just laugh softly and wave at him. I was about to go inside, but he called out to me.

"Are you seriously going to go to the party tomorrow night?" He ask. I don't why, but I explain worried in his voice.

"Why?" I ask.

"Travis is going to go to the party." 

And that, he left.

I widen my eyes when I heard the words he said. Travis is going to go to the party? Did I heard correct? Omo! I hope so.. I can't wait to find out~
