I sit and I wonder
I wait and I wallow
My chest caving in
I'm empty,
I'm hollow,
I wish I could tell you
Yet your ignorant ears
Could never prepare
To listen,
To hear,
I wish I could find you,
I feel I'm lost
Yet if I ever find you, at
what penalty,
What cost?
I give all my soul
I tear away the pieces,
I build you up higher,
And keep keep losing
'Till I've lost
So solemnly I wander
Into darker places calling
With the promise of revival
From losing
From loving
