You don't care
Not like you say you do
You talk to little
And excuse too much
You act so often
And pretend so much
You say you're open
Yet you're so far away
I want to believe you
And all the words you say.
I want to speak
But can't find the words to say
I want to leave
Yet I'm pulled back to stay
It seems in my own narrative
I'm the only one
Without a say.
