"What do we do?" Lydia asked while holding Jennifer in her hand and moving her around. She began crying due to loud noises filling up the room. Loud banging noise came from outside of the hospital front door, but they were so strong that it felt as if the hospital was moving.

"I think they have us surrounded by now," Jack said.

"Did you see Cady outside?" Red slowly asked while turning his head up to look at Jack. His veins were popping out of his forehead and he began turning red, but he still sat on his chair while moving his legs. His face and body language gave off an anxious vibe.

"No," Jack replied with a straight face. "I think she's still gone."

"We can try contacting her," Lydia said.

"She doesn't have any device," Red replied. "And it's good that she isn't involved in this."

"What did you see, Hugo?" Dr. Parkinson asked while looking at his sweaty face that was filled with shock.

"Umm..." Hugo replied. "Nothing', just those evil things."

Jack looked at him and then the rest of the group, "that's right. We're trapped."

"Where did they come from?" I asked.

"I don't know," Jack replied. "Could be because of noise coming from the hospital; generator, heater, and all that."

"Do you think?" Lydia asked while trying to comfort the crying baby. Her sound constantly ripped my eardrums as I tried to not think about the sound.

"It's a possibility," Jack said. "There's literally no other sound a mile away."

"What do we do, Jack," Lydia asked.

"We fight," Jack said. "We survive."

"Do you think we stand a chance?" Lydia asked.

"Only one way to find out," Jack replied.

"There's hundreds of them!," Dr. Parkinson reminded.

"We have weapons," Jack said. "We have to make a run for it."

"We could hold out," Red suggested.

"If we hold out too long, we're screwed," Jack replied. "We need to make a run for it when it's the right time."

"Do we have enough equipment?" Parkinson asked.

"We'll use what we have," Jack said. "Guys, pack everything."

Red got up out of his seat and headed for his room. Jack and Lydia went into their rooms with the baby and Jack began preparing, as well as everyone else. I quickly entered my hospital bedroom and picked up my bags to put whatever clothes and other equipment that I needed. I placed the gun into my holster, on my right hip, that Jack had given me before. After some time, I was outside in the living room and I saw Dr. Parkinson there with his bags on his back and a gun on his hand.

"You're going to actually use that thing?" I asked.

"Going to have to right," he replied. "What about you?"

"I think so," I said while taking out my weapon.

"Is everybody ready?" Jack asked while making his way to the front with his bag. "I've got a couple of grenades that we can use to take down hordes of them."

"I'm ready," Dr. Parkinson said.

Hugo came out to the living room slowly. He still had a look of shock on his face, which expressed how I felt, however, I was willing to give Jack the benefit of the doubt on this one.
