They loved each other, that much was clear. The twinkle in their eyes when they looked at each other, the absent-minded smile when together. And that only intensified when they found out about her. Their daughter.
Now we can't say there weren't issues, there definitely were, but aren't there all in a marriage. I mean, not everyone thought well of it and sometimes it got a bit too much. They married young and had their own area to rule over not much longer. And in this world run by wrinkly, traditional old men, of course it wasn't all fun and games.
But they got through it, after all it is Macbeth and Lady Macbeth we are talking about.
Or at least that's what it was like before, before her birth, when their smiles were smaller and their paranoia grew. And the insanity. Now all the men say they knew best, that they always will, and always shall.
