I meet Annie at the beach, the coral white sand absorbing the heat of the day. She sits on the sand in front of a large dune and next to a limestone rock formation. Annie smiles as I come into view "how did it go?" she asks shyly. I want to tell her how dreadful it is to be known as the butcher or how as i was walking I overheard people saying horrible things about her. But I put on my brave face and reply "good, really good, I didn't have to pay for the tent with money, I paid with an autograph" I smile at the end. Just too really convince her. "oh that was very nice of them, I brought some food along for our picnic" "oh cool what have you brought?" I reply enthusiastically. She sniggers and say's " I’ve got whole sea bass, some salad and for later strawberries and cream" she smiles as she mentions the last dish. “Well ok then" I reply seductively ... or so I thought .I knew once it had been said I regretted it.

Like a banshees cry she burst out laughing and rolling around on the sand."Stop laughing" I plead “it wasn't that funny." She roll's over and look's me in the eyes. She is crying with laughter and as soon as she tries to look away she burst out in another fit of laughter. Slight anger set's in and i say “fine I’ll take my tent and strawberries away, see how you like it then." She flips over, glaring at me, mentally melting my head “you won't touch them?"

To me it sounded like more of a threat than a question, but still, I grabbed the strawberries, dipped one it the cream and ate it. I regretted that as well, she dived at me, knocked me face first to the floor and wrestled the strawberries from me. She is surprisingly strong for her size. I wipe the sand from my face and out of my hair and look up at her, she is sat on the limestone rock formation scoffing them down.

We must have sat there for what seemed like hours, looking at one another, smiling, laughing...  eating. It was late in the evening by the time we did anything and that was only putting up the tent so that we had somewhere to sleep. We climb up onto a grassy outcrop, the wind is blowing a gale, causing us to shiver. Annie pegged down the tent while i put in the rods. We clime in,  put down the mat and drift off into a deep sleep.

I awake to the smell of the sea, the waves in the distance crashing into the rocks. Suddenly something wet and slimy land's on my chest, I shoot out of bed and look at my chest... It's seaweed, Annie is laughing at me so I jump up and throw my pillow at her, She squeals and runs towards higher land but I’m quicker than her and I catch up to her. For my rude awakening she gets a faceful of the sea weed. This time I end up on the floor laughing, I just couldn't help myself. I look up and she isn’t moving. I jump up and turn her over “Annie? Annie!" She sits up in a quite alarming matter and makes me jump. She is up on her feet running into the water. I soon follow. We meet in the water at chest deep. “Well looks like you're ok" I mutter. “Always have been, always will be" she smiles as she replies and I dive at her.
