I've Made Peace

I've learned how to cope with anxiety and my multi personalities 
Tied up my past like shoe laces so I don't trip over them
I have silently forgive those who did me wrong and for this I can say I've made peace.

                          
For all the anger of hidden memories
I can proudly say therapy has been ease 
I did this for my own self interest and for this I can say I've made peace.

                          
I've love and I've lost
I destroyed and rebuild 
I have lost myself so many times it was hard to think but now I'm better in every way, I'm smiling and I feel alive again and for this I can say I've made peace.
