"Amagi Brilliant Park, Starlight World! Grand opening!"

Chills. Actual chills I felt when the lights turned on.

The entire park came to life with beautiful lights. Our castle was showcased too. It was... beautiful. Very much different to the city skylines I saw on the way to school, and vastly more different from... the lights that came out of war zones. While the colors may have been in the same hues as the ones wizards used to fight, these lights are being used for the endearment of the guests.

'(Y/n)'s eyes are twinkling... but are the guests we'll get from operating at night enough?'

"We managed to begin operating at night," Seiya says to Isuzu and me.
"Mm," I reply, doing a 360 to see more.
"Yes, no problems so far," Isuzu properly replies, "It's a huge success, as you can see."

The next morning Isuzu took Seiya and me around the park, showing us the new renovations.
.

Seiya jumped back saying "This is assault!"
I look steps closer to the monster plant  and it knowingly moves away from me, "Woah! I didn't know Tiramie can recreate this species. There's a world filled with these types of plants, but they're the size of states!"
"He must've learned about it from his school."
     "S-states!?"
.

At Macaron's Music Theatre, everyone was vibing to rock music.

.

Moffle's Snack Bar turned into a FPS game.
"We made improvements based on customer feedback."
Just as Seiya starts to complain I sensed the pervy school children making a run for it.
     "Two girls!"
I gulp, using magic to change my weight to a that of a feather, jumping on Seiya's shoulders.
"Sorry, Isuzu..." I whisper quietly as Seiya blinks, confused by the weight and how I jumped on him.

.

     "Those renovations are absurd!"
"They may be, but they're attracting more guests," I say from his lap, since we all tried to fit on the two seated moped.
He wasn't satisfied with it. His brows furrowed, trying to maintain calmness, hope, and rationality all the same time. Something... lamentable is imminent. I could practically taste it in the air.
Just as I rested my head on his shoulder, Triken called for our attention. Apparently a TV Station was visiting the park. Though, Seiya's grand idea for more visitors was still underway for it's logistics...

I admired my nails for a few seconds while quickly scanning file folders, fetching something for Seiya.
Just as I pull it out, an intense pinging feeling snapped inside me. I close my eyes and scan the vitals of everyone in the park. In an even more unnerving discovery, I trace it to Latifa.
"Seiya! I sense something wrong, something happened to Latifa!"
He put his pen down, looking at me directly, "Teleport us there."

I quickly do a long distance scan of the castle, finding Latifa being carried to her room by Isuzu.
Just as I see Isuzu putting her down, we get teleported outside her room.
"What happened?" Seiya and I say in sync.
     "She got dizzy while cooking."
     "Is she sick or something?"
     I look the other direction.
'Both of you, please don't tell Kanie-sama about that.'
Seeing that Isuzu and I remained quiet, he speaks louder, "What, you can't answer? Either of you? (Y/n), tell me."
I flinched uncomfortably, "Latifa... Latifa is cursed. Cursed in many ways by a wizard... that's why some of Maple Land's residents moved here."
His eyes widen and he quickly spat, "Cursed how?"
Isuzu spoke up, "A dragon once appeared out of nowhere in Maple Land. A dragon probably as big as the flowers (Y/n) described. No one could beat it, all but one wizard. That wizard offered to slay the dragon for the king in exchange for the princess. After defeating the dragon, the king went back on his word. The wizard placed a curse on the princess in response, draining all of her Animus, and disappeared. The only way to save her highness was to bring her to Earth, and harvest animus here."
"Then, what if the park goes out of business!?"
"Latifa... goes with it," I whisper quietly, thinking back to that time.
When the whole debacle happened, I was still tiny. Even then, I remembered that dragon, and many more of it's kin. They were definitely created by my parents.
"That curse... no matter what I try it can't be undone. I suspect the wizard was in cahoots with my parents to make such a thing unbreakable. That type of magic..." I mumble off.
Seiya looks down, and says with a quiet tone, "Let's go back. Sento, text me when she wakes up."
"Yes."
I nod and hesitantly place my hand on his arm, teleporting us back to the office.

As we worked I started to feel... off. In the very back of my head, something wasn't right. I don't think it's Latifa's condition that's making me feel this way since I'm used to it. The sky darkens, and I start to feel it even more. This time it's through a headache. My vitals, body, spirit, and magic is normal. What is it?
Glancing at my phone, I notice I need to head to school soon. After these final exams we should be done for the year.
When I stood up, Seiya says, "Are you going to school?"
I nod with a slight flinch and he follows up, "...Are you... is something wrong?"
I shook my head, "I'm going now. Good night."
I bow and teleport. I don't want to let it show.

After exams I took my usual route back. When I made my transfer, there was only one other person onboard. While the time was abnormal, there would usually be more people. Nevertheless, I look out the window.
"You work part-time at that park right? That means you go to school at this time and work in the day. Doesn't that get tiring?"
I look up at him. He was blonde and well dressed in a patterned suit. Quite different from a typical Japanese business man, but who am I to judge?
"Well, I do rest in between work and school for a few hours. I have long breaks too. It's not ideal but it's manageable."
He walks up to me and gets to my eye level, causing me to raise a brow.
"That's a nice little silver tongue you've got. You could've just told me it's because you don't need sleep. That you're not human."
On reaction I push him away and he smirks wildly. Doing a fast-cast I—

I...
