                Kat's POV

It's exactly as I thought! He does look familiar. Ruvel opens the door too the Museum and stands looking at the ground. He looks up at me and he walks towards me. "You changed? You're not wearing your robe. And where did you Sythe go?"

Ruvel looks at the ground. He looks at me again. "I am a reaper. I'm a monster. But I'm also magic in some ways." He looks at the painting. When he looks at it his eyes go wide. A picture of him in on the wall. Of course he's in his true form, but it's him. "I know who painted this."

"What? You do?" I stand amazed. I didn't know he was actually acquainted with my brother. Slade never spoke of this boy before. Actually, I don't think he even had any friends. He said I was the only friend he needed.

Ruvel nodded his head calmly. "Yeah... He was a great friend. He was the best friend I could ever ask for, and he gave up his life for me." What Ruvel said, confused me. I thought my brother died of cancer?

"What happened? How come he never told me about you?" I spoke up after a second of silence. I want to know what happened. I need to know the true reason of why he died. "Tell me... Please."

Ruvel smiled and smile. A real smile. But not a second later he felt pain. I could feel it radiating off him. "I can't speak of it. Not here and not now. I'm not strong enough to tell you yet. or tell you at all."

He outraged me with those words. It he not aware that is my brother? I wanted to know the true reasonings.  I couldn't hold in my anger any longer. I pulled Ruvel by the arm and pulled him outside. "Fly my home! NOW!" Ruvel looked scared. I didn't like it, but at that point I didn't care either.

"What got into you? Is it because I won't tell you something about two people you don't even truly know? What's the point?" Ruvel took his reaper form and I was again scared as well. Slade? What happened? Why did you leave me with out as even a little good bye?

We arrived in the front of my house and I pulled him inside. I took off my jacket and screamed at him. "Is this better? Tell me now! And first off, don't tell me I don't know either of you two! I know that man you were talking about AND I want to get to know you better! Why woul-"

Ruvel covered my mouth with his hand. What the heck! I wasn't finished! But Ruvel began to speak again. "You don't want to know a monster like me. I could kill you, and you're not scared? What is wrong with you?" He embraced me from behind as he let go of my mouth. I couldn't hold back any tears.

"Wha-Wha-Why won-won-won't you tell me?" I couldn't say anything without bursting into tears.

"Why do you insist on knowing so much? Why do you insist on knowing me better?" Ruvel held me tighter. I could feel the pain coming off of him. He was so soft. So comfortable. I almost feel like sleeping in his arms. "Just, what is wrong with you?"

"That's my brother..." I had finally calmed down a bit. I still felt pain, but I was calm.

Ruvel lighten his grip. He looked at me and widened his eyes. "Who was your brother?"

"That boy you were talking about. His name was, Slade wasn't it? That's who you were talking about, right?" I couldn't say anymore. I had told him he was my brother. Will he think of me differently? Will he kill me now? I didn't know what to think.

"What? You knew, Slade?" I didn't expect Ruvel to act so flustered. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Hehe! Yeah! He was the best friend slash brother I could ever have had. Will you tell me what happened, now?" I smiled at him. Could he tell I was feeling very urgent? I will never know.
