Chapter Eleven

*****Kat's POV****

        "What happened? Ruvel?" I repeated myself as I look at Ruvel's face. Tears were streaming down his face. I'd only seen that once. That was when I saw my Brother die. I reach out my Ruvel and as I almost touch him and take my hand back. "Can you get off of Diaval, please?" I look at Diaval who was on the ground still. Ruvel gets off of Diaval and looks at the ground. Noticing that He wasn't going to help Diaval up i reach for his hand. "Here. Let me hel...!"

        "Don't touch him!" Ruvel smacked my hand away as I was reaching for Diaval's. He stepped in front of me in between me and Diaval while pushing my back. I look at Ruvel with anger in my eyes. He was getting on my nerves.

        "Why not!?" I take my hand and stomp over to Ruvel. "Why can't I help him up? It's not like you were going to, and you were the one that knocked him over on his head making it smack the wall! You put your Syth to his neck! For crying out loud! All I was trying to do was help him!" I push Ruvel aside and put my hand on Diaval's arm and yank him up. "Helping... all that was... was helping." I look up and Ruvel who's eyes were as wide as a cow's.

        "Wow, Ruvel. You really messed up this time. Don't know what I did to deserve being pushed around." Diaval looks at Ruvel and I realized what he was doing.

        "If you think that's what I'm doing, you're wrong!" I grab Diaval by the shirt as I feel this rage. "I'm not picking you over Ruvel." I started to feel flustered. Diaval went to touch my hand which was adjusted on his shirt when I snapped. "AND HONESTLY I'D CHOOSE HIM OVER YOU ANYDAY! WHY DO YOU GUYS HAVE TO FIGHT LIKE THIS. CAN'T EVERYONE JUST BE FRIENDS?! I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU GUYS ACT LIKE THIS IS SOME KIND OF COMPETITION! MY SOUL IS NOT A PRIZE! I JUST WISH YOU GUYS WOULD SEE THE PERSON AND NOT THE SOUL!" I look at Ruvel who still stood like a statue. He noticed my starring and started walking towards me. I step back letting go of Diaval's shirt. "AND YOU OF ALL PEOPLE RUVEL! YOU'RE AN ACTUAL PERSON!" I got more mad thinking about the conversation I had with Diaval before Ruvel swung in. It just got worse. "I love you! Ruvel! Why?" I covered my mouth surprised by what I just said. "I'm so sorry." I felt tears running down my face and I went sprinting out of my house.

        "Kat!" I heard Ruvel scream after me. "Wait! What do you mean?" The fact that he didn't understand made me even more sad. I ran even faster and faster not knowing where I was running or what time it was.

****Ruvel's POV*****

        I was trying to scream loud enough for Kat to understand but she didn't even slow down. She just started running faster. "What have I done?" I can only get those words out of my mouth. I've never felt such pain in my heart.

        "Oh buddy! You messed up so bad!" I hear Diaval snicker behind me. "Do you think she'd learn to love me?" I turn quickly to see a serious face on his ugly face.

        "Shut up!" I felt rage looking at his face. "A demon can't love someone! And she would never love you either!" Diaval looks at me wide eyed and smirks.

        "Who said I was in love?"

        I walk over to Diaval and pick him up by his collar like Kat was trying to do. "Oh don't act like this." He wipes the smirk of his face and almost looks scared. "We all know besides her. She's a little dim."

        "It's funny that you say that about someone you love." He looks at me with rage in his eyes. "And I know you're not going to deny it because it's as obvious as me." He wiggles me off of him as I loosen my grip.

"Obviously none of you love her enough!" Both me and Diaval looked at each other in shock. I turn to my left to see Danny standing there with pain in his eyes. "So I guess me and Diaval have no chance with Kat."

        "What! You like her too? I thought Angels couldn't couldn't fall in love." I was surprised when I find out he likes Kat. "What do you mean I don't love her enough?"

        "You didn't chase me." Kat walks in after a few seconds of silence. 

        "Kat!" I push Diaval and Danny out of my way to touch Kat. I see her face and notice that she had been crying so I take my hand and hold it. I can't believe I made her cry. I will never be able to forgive myself.

        "Ruvel! I'm so sorry!" She runs up to me and hugs me. She starts to cry and I don't know why I feel relieved.

        "Kat?" I feels tears at the bottom of my eyelids. I felt relieved I could cry. "No I'm sorry... I should have told you sooner how I felt." I started crying and I put my arms around Kat. "I love you Kat!"

        "I love you Ruvel! I'm sorry I over heard your conversation. Slade always said I was a nosy mary." She lets me go and walks pasts me. "I'm sorry for you guys too."

        "Huh?" Diaval and Danny say in unison. "Why are you apologizing?" Diaval looks at her with his face turning bright red.

        "I over heard everything. I don't know why you all like me. I am not really that likeable and for a angel and demon... even for a reaper." Kat walks back over to me and hugs me. "It's going to be ok though. All of this will mean nothing because one of you guys will kill me." She smiles. This smile was painful to watch.

        "Kat..." I didn't know what to say. If i didn't kill her I'd die because the Soul King would kill me even though it's illegal. "I won't kill you. Don't worry." I take her shoulder and hug her tight. She starts crying in my embrace.

        "You're lying..." She pushes me away and looks at the 3 of us. "You will all get punished if you don't kill me. Well at least Ruvel and Diaval will." She looks at the ground and looks at us with tears running rapidly down her face. "Worst of all. I wish I never loved you Ruvel." She turns around and walks out the door.

        She wishes she never loved me... I can't believe what I just heard.
