Hey Guys. Yeah! I am finally getting too something a little intresting. I hope you guys enjoy! Comment with something you would like me to write about in here or making a different story. OH and comment for Different people's POV. Thanks! ~ Ari
I don't know if he was even more scared to tell me or less scared to tell me. Now that he knows I was Slade's little sister. "Will you please? I just want to know the truth." I felt like crying again, but that wouldn't make Ruvel tell me any faster. I tried to stay strong.
Ruvel looked sad and I felt terrible for making him tell me. But I needed too. "You want short version or long one?" I looked at Ruvel. I didn't think he was actually going to go along with it. "When you want me to stop just say so. I'll stop."
Before Ruvel started I spoke up. "Thank you... Ruvel." He looked at me. I thought I saw his cheeks turn red, but I couldn't tell. "I apperciate everything you are doing for someone like me. I've never met someone as nice as you. How could you possibly be a rea-"
Ruvel had hugged me. He had a tight grip on my body. He is such a nice person. I would have never guessed he was a reaper. As Ruvel hugged me I felt his clothes change from a rough fabric to a much softer one. I figured he had just changed into human form. "Okay," Ruvel let go of me and nodded. "I'll tell you the story.." He looked at the floor and started again. "It was about the time Slade got Cancer. After about a week I was told to hunt him down. At first I never really cared too much for humans. and I was fully intending on killing him. Bu-"
"Woah! Woah! Woah! Slow down there, softy." A voice, I've never heard before, came sounding behind me. Ruvel looked past my shoulder and looked hateful. I turn to see another man. This one dressed as Diaval was earlier, just a tad different. "Don't worry. I didn't come to ruin the story. I just came to report that I demand you give up on this Human, and go back to what ever you do."
Never have I ever felt so mad. I didn't knwo why I felt so mad. "Hey! Back off. What did he do to you?" The man looked at me and walked towards me slowly. I tried to move as he looked at me and raised his hand to my face, but I was almost stunned. I couldn't move. He pushed me a side and put his hand in the air. I noticed he was going to hit Ruvel when he swung down. "No!"
"Damn it! What the hell! What happened?" The man screamed. Just before he made contact with Ruvel's face and after I screamed 'No' a beam shot through his hand. The man looked straight towards me. What did I do? I don't have any idea what just happened but I was too scared to check. "So, you figured it out?"
"What are you talking about?" I look at the man and another question sprung from my mouth. "You're a devil, aren't you?"
The man looked at me in shock. It was almost as if he didn't know it was obvious. "I am a devil. Do you want my name as well, Miss Kat Mangger?" I nod my head humbly at the man. I was scared by his appearence at first, but It didn't bother me anymore. "Okay. They call me the Prince of Darkness, but you're welcome to call me Lucas."
"I've never seen a demon be so humble and calm around me. What's the matter with you?" I asked Lucas in a very strict almost blunt way. Ruvel looks my way and widens his eyes. Lucas turns fully towards me as I caught his attention with that question.
"What's wrong with me? Well, Hunnie, You're asking a 'devil' what's wrong with him. I don't quite know, do you mind finding out though?" Lucas took a step towards me, pushing Ruvel back. "You've got some guts asking me that." He says all this with a devious smile on his face. He takes another step towards me, until we are inches apart. He grabs my chin and raises it up. Again with a look of thirst for blood he looks at me, but when he sees my face, he steps down. "You're very brave, aren't you? Standing up to the Prince of Darkness with out fear. I can't even smell an inch of it on you."
"That's enough, Lucas!" Ruvel pushes him back. Ruvel looked very angry. "Why do you come?" Ruvel looks down at Lucas who smashed hard into the side of my coffee table. "Answer me! Why do you come? With what do you have business here?"
Lucas stands up rubbing his hip, where there was a rip in his Yukata from the sharp edge table. I did feel bad but there was nothing I could do about it. "Well, actually I'm here to do something, you're not doing."
"And that is...?" I couldn't help but budge in on the conversation. I don't know why he had to come at such a bad time, or why he even came. Someone that just shows up and tries to ruin stuff, isn't at all fun.
"Why sense, Ruvel isn't going to kill you, I will." Lucas looks at me and smiles. Never have I ever thought someone could hold so much rage. "Ruvel insists on waiting. I say take you're soul now, and call it good." He was such an evil person. I understand why he is a demon.
"Why? Why do you need to kill me? What did I do?" I was heartbroken that guys are fighting over me, but not for me, my soul. I never really paid any attention to guys, but now it really hurts.
"I need your soul to live. Now I'm saying that because Hades will kill me if I don't kill you. But Ruvel here, seriously needs you to live. They eat souls, feed from them, hunt for fun," I look at Ruvel with tears just sitting in my eyes. "And you thought I was the monster."
I shake my head at Lucas. "I never said you were a monster! I never thought you were a monster! Ruvel is it true you need me to live?" Ruvel looks at the ground and nods very slowly. "Okay... Well fine. It's fine you need souls to live. But why don't you kill me now? Why haven't you?"
"Ha! You've gone soft, my Friend! You can't kill her because you know about Slade." Lucas just looks at me. "Did you think that telling him, Slade, was your brother would save you? All you humans are the same! SELFISH! You just want to live and make havoc of life. Disgrace it."
I shake my head feriously. "No! I didn't think I would live if I told him! I honestly thought he'd want to kill me even more. Ruvel, if that's why you won't kill me, just do it." I never thought I'd get in an arguement with a demon.
"I ... Can't kill her." Ruvel looks slowly up towards Lucas. "And if it's your plan to kill her now. It's not going to happen! I was sent by, The Soul King, to kill her. I obey everything he says, but I said she had 7 days left to live." Ruvel's hands tighten into fists. He looked Furious. I run over to him and grab his hands. Ignoring everything he was trying to do to keep his hands closed, I open them. His fingernails dug deep holes into his hands and they were bleeding badly.
"If you need to kill me, do it Ruvel. I have no one left anyways. I don't even know what to do for my last seven days." I try to get Ruvel to cheer up. Maybe thinking about killing me will cheer him up.
"No! Damn it! You have seven days left! I won't kill you 'till then!"
"But you're hurt. Come here." I lead him to the sink and turn on the water. I was planning on it washing the blood away, but as he touched the water he healed completly. "What!"
"I can heal from water. That ability only belongs to me and other special Reapers."
"Hey girls over there! Just gonna leave me hangin'? Ruve can suck it up. Now get over here and fight me. Who ever wins, gets her soul. Deal?"
Ruvel stood up. "You called me Ruve? You know I hate that."
Lucas laughed. "Don't avoid the question. Deal? Either that or i take her now."
"Deal!"
