Personality: Snarky, if you can get a compliment out of him, accept it, 'cause it may never happen again. He's a little bit suicidal, self-deprecative, and just over-all a pain in the ass. On business he can take on a serious attitude, but when he tells you to leave him alone, you do it (unless you have a special place in Val's heart, which is... unlikely.) He's the type of person who likes to get shit done without interference, and if I haven't made it obvious enough, he's an pain in the ass. He has a horrible smoking habit, but he doesn't mind, whatever kills him faster but slower.

Appearance: He toned and lanky, having a narrow build. He doesn't weigh a lot, making him good for endurance. When he's not provoked, his eyes a nice, rich, brown color. He has tire wrinkles under the inner corners of his eyes, and has long, black hair parted to the right. Could be androgynous.

Clothes: His jackets are usually black (except for his grey, double-breasted, wool coat), having a blazer he keeps at the office and a leather jacket he wears anytime he's outside of the office. He has a white button-up shirt he keeps tucked into black slacks or clean black jeans of some sort, with clean black leather shoes. He has another pair of these he keeps at home to wear literally everywhere. He keeps his sleeves rolled up to his elbows on pretty much every long sleeved shirt he owns. To keep his pants up, he either has black suspenders or a black belt.

He's also not afraid to dress drag.

Weapons/Abilities: he has two black hand guns given to him when he began working in The Capital in the Investigation department. He's a good marksman, and can use pretty anything you give him as a weapon.

Backstory: Val had an abusive childhood as a simple human, his father a drunk, and his mother a drug addict. She died first. He didn't care too much for what their addictions were, as he knew better. In high school he took a liking to the gang type stuff, but his trusty friend Sebastian helped him get out of stuff real easy, so he was never really caught. As soon as he graduated, he went off to join the mafia, the Boswell Mafia, with the smoking habit already made. There he found his first boyfriend, Adrian Boswell, who was the son of the mafia leader. Adrian has secrets, and was good at hiding the creature he really was. Val had been in the mafia for about a year now, and thought he was getting somewhere with it. One night, while alone with his lover in the bed, he felt those fangs sink into his neck. The infectious saliva had gotten into his bloodstream, and it hurt. In a panic he left, swearing never to come back. Once he was bit, his smoking habit got worse, and that's when his attitude really changed. It took some self-training, but he soon figured out how to sneakily take people out, storing blood in wine bottles atop his fridge he can take drinks out of whenever so less people have to die. He went to school to study for Criminal Justice, and got many jobs, soon upgrading all the way to one of the chiefs in the Investigative Department of the Capital. Here, he hoped to be able to exact revenge on his ex-lover, while at the same time halfly starting over (if he's ever motivated). But, while supernatural creature rates were rising, so did the demand for strange ingredients. Small local shops can be found, selling helpful ingredients, as well as blood. Val keeps his bottles of blood on top of his fridge in a rack, and also gets it from the only bar in the car that sells blood infused drinks.
