Chapter 9

Rav excuse himself a while ago while, I think its already 15 minutes but he still not back. The party will start any moment from now so we headed back to our assigned seats.

"As the host starts his greetings, I excused myself to go to the comfort room. In the corridor, I hear some voices and one of these is familiar. Instead of entering the comfort room, out of curiosity I trace where is the voice coming from,i was about to turn right when I notice Rav and a girl wearing a sapphire color gown. I wonder who she is, but what shocks me is that I saw Rav kissing that girl. It take me seconds to absorb what I have seen.

'Gosh Rav, what are you doing?'

Then, I heard the voice of the girl,

"Rav, please don't do this, you know that you are like a brother to me, pls let's not hurt each other."

"I already try to forget you for how many times, but what can I do? It's still you Ally. Please give me a chance , just one chance , i'll make you love me."

My heart ache as I watch the two of them, I think it's because I never thought the Rav I know is keeping a deep pain in to his heart and it also pained me to see this one.

I didn't continue watching that heartbreaking scene, it makes my heart ache, so I decided to step back and went to the comfort room. After washing my hands, I was startled to see Rav, standing in the entrance of the CR while bowing its head.

"I know you heard and see me a while ago." I don't know how answer him, but I manage to say sorry to him.

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop. Just think that I didn't saw and hear you. "

"Okay lang, I see you at your worst and you see me at my worst, what do you think? Sa tingin mo ba patas na tayo?" Then he do a fake smile.

"Stop faking it, will you? Ang pangit mo." I smirked.

"Stop it, will you? Ang pangit mo." Mimicking my line and my voice a while ago. "sino kayang mas pangit sa ting dalawa ha?"

"Tss. Ewan ko sayo. Wanna ditch the party? I'm bored you know."

"They will find us. What about just get some fresh air for a few minutes before we head back inside?"

"Sure. "

We decided to go back and settled with our own seats. I saw the confused look from my mother, but she didn't ask questions. I realized that this party is for that Ally, the girl he's with a while ago.

Vacation ends, I need to go back to my usual routine which is going to the university, I started to like my current course now, someone is calling me so I answered it without looking on the caller.

"Hello."

"Ice. Parking lot, you should be here after 10 minutes." How dare he order me around ? But I notice myself starting to bring back my things in my bag and headed to the parking lot.

I saw him leaning on his pick up and I think he saw me coming.

"Hindi mo talaga ko matiis."

"Do I have a choice? Saan tayo?"

"Basta. Samahan mo muna ko."

"Okay."

We arrived in a coffee shop after a 10 minutes drive.

"Why we're not going down?"

He didn't say anything, so I follow his gaze to see the woman inside the coffee shop,as to what I remember, she looks like Ally.

"You bring me here just to stalk with that girl?" Pabalang kong sabi sa kanya.

"If you want to buy inside, you can go, I'll just wait here, please order for me too. " He said that without looking at me.

"What? No way! We're going there together." Wala na siyang nagawa nung hinila ko na siya papasok.

Dumiretso kami sa counter and order.

"2 iced coffee and 2 blueberry cheesecake."

I choose the table near Ally's table. Nakatalikod ako sa kanya while Rav is facing there kaya hindi na maipinta ang kanyang mukha.

"You're doing it intentionally."

"What?" Then, I laughed. " I just want to sit here. The view is good at this side, what do you think?"

He didn't mind me and get his phone and play games there. We eat in peace until I heard a voice coming from the girl's table.

"Ally? Is that Rav?" Then, I heard Ally reply to that girl.

"Where?" Silence was heard after that word, and I think he saw Rav at this moment. I think this man in front of me didn't heard them or he just don't mind.

"After this, let's head back to the university. I never thought you'll put me in this situation. "

"Why? Isn't a good thing? What do you think? You'll able to see that girl this near instead of stalking him from a far."

"So mean." I still want to pissed him but I retreat after seeing those pain in his eyes. I think I went overboard this time.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done this. Let's go?"

Then we stand up, before reaching the door of the shop, I heard that sweet voice of hers calling Rav that makes him stop for a moment. I think he's having a hard time to choose whether he'll going to greet her or ignore her, so I made a way to go out in this awkward situation. I called Rav so he could notice me.

"Let's go. We're going to be late kung di pa tayo aalis."

"Okay." He chose to ignore her and I hope it will be the last time he'll do it.
