Chapter 17

It's already 10 pm when we're done in packing my things, so we decided to sleep in my condo and go in his house tomorrow.

I knocked on the guest room and bringing some of Jeff's clothes that he can use today. 

" Come in."

" Here. You can use this. It's Jeff's clothes. You can wear it after you take a bath."

" Thanks."

"Okay. I'll go to my room now. If you need anything, just knock on my door."

" Okay. Thanks Kei." I was taken aback with the way he called my name. It feels so good to hear him calling my name. Wait, what I'm thinking? Maybe, it's only because I'm used of other people calling me Ice. Yeah yun nga.

" Goodnight." I said then leave the room immediately.

Kanina pa ko hindi makatulog, kahit anong posisyon na ng pagtulog ang gawin ko wala pa din. I went to the kitchen to drink some fresh milk to help me sleep, only to see him sitting on my kitchen counter drinking some beer. 

" Can't sleep?"

"Yeah."

" You want some?"

" I'll just drink fresh milk."

" Didn't know you like to drink beer."

" Yeah, sometimes, but Jeff put that there."

" You seem really close huh?" 

" hmmm. We're together since when we were 4. We attend same school since elementary up to highschool."

" Is that so? That's why you let him also sleep here?"

" I don't have problem with that, we're like brothers and sisters anyway. They can come here anytime they want."

"But I have."

" You what?"

" He's still a man Kei. Letting a man stay at your place is  dangerous."

" He's not any other man for me. He's like my brother."

" Kahit na."

" So, you're saying that letting you stay here for tonight is also dangerous, is that so?"

" No, I mean, I'm your soon to be husband, so there's nothing wrong with that."

" Whatever. Anyway, goodnight." I turn my back at him and bring the small box of my fresh milk.

" Kei!" I didn't look back and just wave my hands at him.

" Goodnight Kei." I heard him say before I close the door of my room.

What the hell Ice, why you're getting nervous with his presence? He's just like other man. You don't have to be nervous. I calm myself and lay on my bed trying so hard to sleep.

The knock on the door woke me up. I get my phone and look at the time and saw that it's 8 o'clock in the morning already. He knocks again and called my name.

" Kei?"

" Pierce. I'll go out after 10 minutes."

"Okay. Take your time Kei." then, I do my morning routine before going out of my room. I went to the kitchen and saw that he already prepare our breakfast today.

"Good morning. Did you cook all of these?"

" Hmm. Common, let's eat, I bet you still have class today." As he said that, I remember that I have 10 am class today. 

" Arghhh, why did I forgot that? Anyway, How did you know my schedule?"

" Connections." Then, he winked at me.

" Okay. Thanks with your connections." I said with sarcasm.

" Common, let's eat na, so I can also send you to your school."

" You don't have to send me to school, you know I can manage."

" Don't you remember that I don't have my car with me and I'm using yours. I also need to send your things at my place before I'll go to work."

" Okay. If you say so. Just drop me at the gate, I'll just call my friends para madaanan nila ko don."

"I'll just drop you in your building and it's final."

"But Pierce." dahil wala na akong magagawa sumuko na lang ako.

" Okay, just don't go out. I haven't told them yet about you. And please don't go outside, If what Cris said about you being famous, baka pagkaguluhan ka pa."

" Is that how you show your concern or you're just being jealous?"

" What the! Stop teasing me Pierce. Inuumpisahan mo na naman ako."

" Okay, okay. I will not go down. I just want you to  be safe, so I'll drop you to your building."

"Okay, deal."

Like what he said, he really send me to the school. Just like the usual, Eli and Syre loves to stay outside the building to chit chat, and that's what I forgot about. They know that I always leave my car in the parking lot and that I always walk up to our building. Even with their confused face, I know that they noticed that it's my car but they refused to come near because of their hesitation. 

" What's the problem?" Pierce asked after seeing my problematic expression.

" I forgot that my friends are there." I point them with my hands for him to saw them.

" Good thing you have girl friends."

"Yeah."

"And what's your problem with that."

"Well, they noticed that this is my car and they were confused why it is here instead of being in the parking lot."

" Well, just tell them that I send you"

" I haven't tell them about you."

"Then, introduce me to them."

"What?" His response is interrupted by the knock on my car's window. 

"I think it's too late to argue with that. They're here."

" Just. just don't go outside and close the window." He never listened to me and he open the window at my side and my friends see him with their shock expression.

"Good bye Kei. Take care. I'll fetch you later." Then, he kissed me in my cheeks,

I don't know how to react. I'm really shock with  his actions. Did he really kissed me on my cheek? Nakabalik lang ata ako sa realidad ng dahil sa tili nina Syre at Eli,

"You're blushing." Pierce stated the obvious.

" It's just a kiss on the cheeks, don't worry. I think that's enough explanation for them to know me."

"Pierce! Arghhhh stop pissing me!"

" Why?, you know you look cute when you're pissed."

" Whatever. Thanks again for your actions. I think I will have a hard time today. " I said with sarcasm.

" Well. you're welcome." Then he gave me a wink.

I stormed out of my car and looked at my friends while raising my left brow upon noticing their teasing face.
