Daisuke (POV) Not long after, we make it to second gate and onto a ferry which will take us deeper inward to another district. The sounds cries and people in denial fill our ears. That is until the screaming started as the great mass of people who weren't able to board started to panic and word that titans approaching the second gate started to spread. Daisuke- Mom...... Mom- It's okay honey. Everything will be okay. The ferry starts to go and we hear loud booms come from the other side of that second gate. Hikaru- Cannon fire. Then the crunching of four stomps brings all of us out of our senses and all eyes on the second gate. The heavy stomps get louder and faster as it approaches the gate. The screams of soldiers barking could barely be heard over this fast approaching sounds. Suddenly, the second gate bursts open and a titan that seems to covered in armor comes to a screeching halt. It's followed by a titan similar in height but with no skin and all muscle.

All I could do is watch as the titans came through the breach and started their endless feast as the ferry traveled ever onward. Within hours, bad news of the fall of Shiganshina spread like wildfire as every man, woman, and child within the interior found out about the unthinkable. Naturally, mass terror came. It was worse here on the boats as everyone pretty much gave up and accepted defeat. Daisuke *mind*- My life as I know it is gone. My home is pretty much destroyed now, Eren lost his mom, and now they've breached wall Maria. Everybody here is giving up. They're choosing death. They're nothing but cowards! Well not me!! If I'm going to die, I die when I say so! I refuse to be titan fodder! These cowards choose death, I choose to fight! I break my mom's grasp and edge my way to the edge of the ship to look at destruction of my home as it slowly fades away in the distance. Eren comes up right next to me with tears in his eyes. Eren- I'm gonna put a stop to this. Daisuke- And I as well. We'll kill them all. Eren- Every last one. Daisuke- All of those pieces of shit will die by our hands. That is my promise. Timeskip Night fell and we managed to to make to time wall Rose. We ended up hunkering down inside an old horse stable and we all fell into deep sleep. My sleep was rather unpleasant because it felt so real. I was hanging out with Eren and Mr. Jaeger out in the woods when he went crazy and started spouting nonsense. He pinned us down and stuck us with some needle with weird liquid inside of it. I quickly wake up in startled way only to feel soft hands brushing my hair. I notice that my head is in a person's lap. More specifically, Mikasa's lap. Mikasa- Hey, its okay. I'm here. You were just dreaming. Daisuke- Good god. It's like I was there. It was so real. Mikasa- A nightmare. You'll be fine. Daisuke- Right. I get up and stretch a little to wake up my body a little. I then wake up Hikaru and mom comes into the stables. Mom- Okay kids, follow me. They're handing out food rations near here. We exit and I get a good look at a portion of the refugees here.

Fights among some refugees are already starting to break out here and there. Hikaru- Wow. Not exactly a dignified existence. ???- Hey guys! We turn our attention to the voice and see Armin coming towards us with some bread. Mom- Well hello there Armin. Armin- Hi Ms. Tatsuo. I'm glad I found you guys. Here, take some bread. Grandpa managed to get a little more from the powers that be. Mom- How nice of him. We all take a bread but before we can eat, a soldier gives us a dirty look and walks off. Daisuke- Um okay. What's up with him. What's his problem. Mom- Oh pay no attention to him. He's probably just hungry is all. Armin- There's a shortage of food. I wouldn't eat that too quickly. There was already a famine going on before we even came here so it's an ugly situation. That and this far in, there's a greater despair between the halves and the half breeds. I overhear two soldiers talking shit about us refugees. Calling us animals and putting us in the front lines as appetizers for the titans. Daisuke- Sorry mom. I can't do it. Eren- Neither can I. Mom- Hmm? Eren and I walk up to the soldiers and Eren kicks one in the shin while I punch the other in his stomach hard. The soldiers easily overpower us and kick us down to the ground. Eren- Spineless cowards. Daisuke- No backbone whatsoever. All of you. You have no freakin idea what it's like out there! Riddle me this jackass, have you even seen one?! Have you seen what they can do? No, you haven't so before to start talking shit, why don't you go out there to wall Maria and get a nice look up close at one. Then and only then will you be able to open that mouth of yours. Soldier- Why you little piece of- Hikaru and Armin get in the way. Armin- They're sorry. Hikaru- Please sir. My brother not knows what he says. He's just hungry is all. He has that bad habit of saying what's on his mind when he gets like this. Armin- Forgive them. I beg of you. Soldier- Yeah.......well whatever. Tell your buddies a little gratitude goes a long way. Armin- Sure. He walks off. Daisuke- Bitches. Spineless bitches is what they all are.
