Daisuke (POV) The colossal titan eyes us both and he raises his right arm to swipe at us. Eren and I take off toward him at max speed. The colossal titan's swipe draws near and we leap up into the air before he could hit us. He takes out the cannons and other things on top of the wall while we fall off on his side and grapple onto the back of him. We dislodge and use our steam to propel ourselves to his upper level. Daisuke *mind*- Shit. There goes our wall defenses. The gate then and now was no accident. He planned this. He has fucking intelligence! The colossal titan turns his head towards us and his hand reaches out at us through the clouds of steam. Daisuke- Oh fuck! Eren- Follow me! Daisuke- Will do! I follow Eren's lead as we grapple onto the under part of the titan's forearm and we swing up to his bicep. We land on it and begin to sprint for its head. Before he could make a move to counter us, we leap off and use our ODM gear to maneuver ourselves to his nape. ED- Take this! We dive towards his nape and swing out blades. Before our swords met skin, a burst of really hot steam was let out from him. Still undeterred from the force of the wind and the heat of the steam, we rappel ourselves forward and slice. All we slice is air as the colossal titan vanishes. Daisuke *mind*- The hell? Eren *mind*- How did I miss? Gravity takes over and we begin to plummet. Eren latches on to the wall but before I can do the same, I get swiped by somebody else and I get taken to the top of the wall. The stranger sets me down and gives me a pleasant smile.

Stranger- That was quite gutsy of you and your friend. Daisuke- Yeah but it was just like five years ago. He was here. We had him. Then he just vanished out of thin air. Eren comes up the wall and joins us as well as everybody else. Eren- We're sorry. We couldn't get him. Stranger- Don't be. Most of us could hardly even move. Eren- Who are you exactly? Stranger- Oh apologies. My name is Brennan. Brennan Nekane. I'm a soldier just like you guys. Connie- Hey! We don't have time for that right now! Do that later. In case you haven't noticed, there's a breach. We have to act now. If they start pouring in, that's it. Another soldier comes up with orders. Soldier- Look alive. Operation Colossal Titan Response is in affect. I expect you to take part. Report to HQ. If you got close to the damn thing, we need details. Everyone- Sir! Connie- We pray that the advance team will be victorious! We report back to HQ and everything is in chaos. Everyone is getting ready for battle and Eren and I do the same. We go to get our steam refueled and we spot Armin shaking uncontrollably. Eren- Armin, what's wrong? Armin- I........don't worry. I'm fine. Just give a moment for my nerves to settle. This is bad isn't it? There's a hole in the wall eight meters wide and we don't even remotely have the ingenuity to know how to plug it. That huge boulder near the front gate was our best bet. But we couldn't figure out how to hoist it in place. Unless we seal the breach, the entire city is as good as dead. How long do you think before they take Wall Rose? Seriously?! How long?! Think about it. They can wipe out the entire human race in an afternoon! Mikasa and Hikaru join us and Hikaru gently places her hand on Armin's shoulder. Hikaru- Armin, I want you to listen to my voice. You're stuck dwelling in the past. I want you to look ahead to the future. We're not going to be victims anymore. Now take a deep inhale through the nose. He does as she says. Hikaru- Now gently exhale through your mouth. Armin exhales. Hikaru- Better? Armin- Y-Yes. Thank you. I'm fine now. Hikaru- Good.
