Chapter 33

Author's POV

Kim looked at Alicia as if she had seen a ghost.

"You what?" Kim gaped at Alicia. Her mouth was open ajar.

"I-" Alicia turned over while fiddling with the hem of her tank top. "I want to tell him what I feel. It's making me insane day by day thinking that-" She turned again and held Kim from shoulders. "-what he feels for me. If he feels the same as I do or...." She trailed off sliding her hands down Kim's arms.

"I can't even imagine the else part." Her expression changed into sad one as she sat on the bed.

"You don't have to imagine it either!" Kim sat on the bed near Alicia holding her hands in hers. "You know what? I was desperately waiting for you to admit that you love Zayn!" Her eyes shimmered as she smiled squeezing Alicia's hand while she bent her lashes down in shyness.

"I have seen you two! You look perfect together and I'm sure!" Kim smiled wide while making Alicia look into her glistening eyes. "I'm sure that he feels the same! God! Have you ever noticed the way he looks at you?" She raised her eyes when Alicia gave her a confused look.

"What?" Alicia blushed.

"My sweet friend you are too innocent." She pulled her cheeks. "You should atleast judge some things sometimes?" She laughed while Alicia just looked at her while shrugging and smiling a bit.

"Ah! Leave it! Nothing to worry about!" She smiles. "So? What's your plan you madly-in-love-with-Zayn girl?" She giggled earning a light punch on her forearm from Alicia.

"Umm....My plans is to sleep for now and we will be going to goldsmith tomorrow early morning!" She smiled wide with a light pink blush on her cheeks while pulling the sheets over her to cover herself.

"Goldsmith?" Kim gaped. "Are you going to ask Zayn to marry you? Directly? By gifting him the gold ring?" She blinks rapidly with her mouth open causing Alicia to giggle uncontrollably.

"No way! I'm not going to ask for thaaat!" She giggled again turning to the side away from Kim.

Kim walked to her side shifting in her own sheets beside Alicia. "Then?" She looked at her with an amused smile.

"You will know tomorrow morning." Alicia whispered lightly before turning around to cover her blushing face. "Good night Kim!"

"Good night!" She chimed and the silence seeps between them.

"Kim?" Alicia's soft voice made Kim to open her eyes as she faces her back.

"Hmm?"

"He won't reject me or Will he?" She swallowed the lump down which started to form inside her throat.

"Don't think ridiculous Al! He won't reject you. Now sleep!"

"But what if he did?" She turned around to look at Kim with her slightly wet eyes. "What if he says he doesn't like me and it was nothing whatever happened between us? I-I won't be able to handle that!" She wiped her eyes to stop the few tears to fall down.

"Al..." Kim touched her cheek lightly by pulling her hand out of her sheets. "Nothing is going to happen like that. Sleep babe." She said while giving her a reassuring smile.

Alicia frowned before closing her eyes.

Beep.

Both of them opened her eyes as Alicia's phone beeped. Kim made an obvious look on her face before giggling. "Your Prince!" She winked before turning to the other side giving Alicia some privacy.
