Needless to say that night Camila wasn't getting much sleep. Her mind was too preoccupied with the fact that her body isn't normal, and that the crazy scientist might not be that crazy after all. The whole night she tried to make a rational excuse for what she saw on that computer screen. "It cant be possible. No way." She says for the tenth time, once again tossing in her bed. She looks up to the ceiling, wondering just how she could make sense of all this. Just then she hears the faint sound of glass breaking. She momentarily freezes, her breath stopped in her throat. Is it a burglar?  Did they break the window? She automatically starts panicking. She is scared that whoever broke the glass would scavenge the house thinking it's deserted, find her, and kill her. Her breathing quickens as she starts thinking of the worst possible things. Then she remembers where she is, at the house of a crazy scientist. Not only that, a crazy scientist that is a monster! She begins worrying for the burglar. If Mr Lodon finds the thief, he wont be leaving alive.

With a sigh Camila creeps out of her bed. Her eyes quickly scan her room for anything she could use to defend herself. Her eyes land on the lamp sitting on her bedside table. Carefully unplugging it, she silently opens her bedroom door and starts making her way down the long, dark corridor. I cant believe I am fucking doing this right now! What sane person needs to save a thief that broke into their house!  She talks to herself, not believing the situation she is in. Just then she hears another glass shatter.

Her head snaps to where the elevator is located. How did the thief get to the lab!?!! This is not good at all! Picking up her pace, she walks into the elevator and is about to press the button for level one, when she sees blood covering the level 2 button. "Is that..blood?" She cant help but question out loud. Bringing a shaky finger to the button, her delicate fingers brush the crimson liquid. It's warm to the touch. That means the thief was just here. She presses the button and takes an audible gulp. Her adrenaline levels now rushing through the roof. Just as the elevator comes to a soft halt, her stomach drops to the floor, her nervousness kicking in.

The doors open as usual, and she looks up to see the same soft blue hue reflected on the walls. Nothing seems out of place except for the drops of blood along the floor. Camila takes another gulp, contemplating if this is something she really wants to do. No! If i can save a life, I will!  She takes a determined step out of the elevator and starts following the trail of blood. Just as she is about to turn the corner and face the vast lounge room, she hears a gruff sigh.

The sound of a frustrated man.

Her curiosity peeks, as she sneaks her head out of the side of the wall. Her eyes quickly scan for any signs of life, but she sees nothing, that is until her wide eyes land on a broad shirtless man. But not just any shirtless man, the tribal like tattoos that crawl up the muscles of his back confirm that it is none other than Mr Lodon.

"Come out here." The gruffness of his voice make the hairs on Camila's arms stand up. She follows his order nevertheless. The lamp in her hands held firmly, she makes her way over to Mr Lodon who sits on the floor, bottles of liquor surrounding him. Camila's eyes go wide when she sees how many empty bottles there are. There has to be over 100 bottles here!  She hold the lamp more closely to her chest. Her eyes land on a broken bottle sitting next to Mr Lodon, traces of blood still on it. The hairs on her arm rise again fearing the worst. She then sees Mr Lodon's hand. His arm has a trickle of blood along it, her eyes follow the trail of blood down to the palm on his hand. Walking further towards him, she sees the tissue of his hand healing. Thats right he can heal quicker than humans, she recalls. Satisfied that no one has died here tonight she makes the rest of the way over to him.

Once she is standing in front of the scientist, but far enough that she can run if need be, he looks up at her. Contrary to the amount of liquor he has drank, he shows no signs of intoxication. His eyes land on the lamp Camila holds close. He motions his head to it. "Whats that for?", he asks. The genuine curiosity catches Camila off guard. "Umm.. the.. I thought there was a break in." She says, blushing from embarrassment at how she cant form a coherent sentence. He scoffs with humour, "Thats not going to do anything Princess," he stretches his legs out and places on arm on the sofa his back is leaning on, "-this place has more security than Pentagon." He says with a smirk, eyeing the lamp with scorn.
