It takes a thousand tries to convince myself. It was hard, frustrating, and consuming but now, I'm sure. I feel the cold of the solid surface beneath my naked feet. I'm breathing and feeling the life that surrounds me.

The living, they're with me, inside my body, we co-exist, millions of them. We share a life with things that we don't see. Amazing isn't it? Today I'm taking them with me. I look at the horizons as the dawn breaks to its comfort. I'm here standing on my own feet.

Do you see me? I'm ready now, are you proud of me as i face my greatest fears? Or sad as I let your dreams become my fear? A warm moist rolls down my cheeks. I gave a smile so she can see it. I hope you're here too; living, breathing even beyond our eyes. I'm sorry for taking this long. You know what I've been through.

I look under and was mesmerized with the hues of blue and green, the sun mixed and a color of orange blends with it. Is this how you see things? My heart is pounding, a warmth feeling envelopes me.

Is this what life is? Am I living now? I took a glimpse under again, but this time longer. I step forward readying myself. I stop when i reach the edge. I've made it this far. I let my thoughts drifted to the past.

I was here 3 years ago; courageously facing the rage of waves and the heat of the sun, until it happened. You can say I'm stupid for letting my life be consumed by one incident. I hope i can control it.

I gulp a lungful of air, shut my eyes and jumped. A familiar feeling welcome's me as I descend to the sea. I feel weightless and freed from gravity it's like the sea is eager to pulls every inch of me, like a grieving mother who found her long lost child. Was it you, mom? The fall lasts a few seconds but the feeling lasts longer. The cold of the water rushes past me. I didn't move and just let the natural force controls me. I opened my eyes to see where I am now, just a crystal void and the light casting from the sun.

I extend my hand upward trying to catch the ray of light. I felt my limbs tighten, I envision my mom reaching out to me. Move I told myself, light headed. You're ready aren't you? We've talk about this, and think through, you're here now. I tried to move up fighting the urge of completely falling down. Slowly, I tried to touch her. I didn't realize that I'm already heads up at the sea. I swam and reached the deck. A hand extended to me.

"Did you find it?" My father asked, worried.

" I guess" I said and he smiled.
