a/n: this chapter is kind of short and is more of a filler chapter.

2 weeks later:

wooyoung

it has been a couple weeks since san and wooyoung went to the coffee shop. they have surprisingly gotten really close within that short amount of time.

when they got their schedules for school starting up, they were both nervous.

fortunately, the boys found out they do have dance together. seungmin was in there and so were san's friends minho and hyunjin too along with jisung.

dance was their last class of the day and the had all been practicing a dance.

apparently there was some performance coming up in a few weeks.

wooyoung wanted to make sure he was ready so he would often stay after class to practice. he didn't mind anyways because he loved dancing.

it was a way for him to escape from reality along with singing.
wooyoung was very passionate about music.

wooyoung was currently in dance class and he was having a bit of a hard time getting the moves down.
in the performance coming up,
he also got to have a bit of a solo, not much of one, but wooyoung was determined to make it look the best.

he decided he was going to stay after class to practice.

"okay class, get some water, go back home, and freshen up. i'll see you guys on monday." their dance teacher, mrs. jeong said.

wooyoung loved their dance teacher. she was so nice and very energetic.

everyone started leaving the classroom but obviously wooyoung was staying.

mrs. jeong saw wooyoung and said
"are you okay staying here wooyoung? you don't have to overwork yourself. you've been staying here long after class ends."

"i'm okay, mrs. jeong. i don't have anything else to do and i want to make sure i provide my best in this class."
wooyoung smiled

"okay well please don't stay too long. make sure to get some rest."

wooyoung replied,
"i won't stay too long. thank you mrs. jeong. have a nice rest of the day!"

wooyoung started practicing again.

mrs. jeong smiled and left the room not before seeing san near the door

"hi san, what are you doing here?"

"i'm gonna try to persuade wooyoung to go home. he keeps staying here everyday"
san laughed

mrs. jeong also laughed
"i understand. keep an eye on him. bye san!"

"bye mrs. jeong"
-
while wooyoung was practicing, he did not notice that san was looking at him from the doorway.

"wooyoung, lets go home" san said to the older

wooyoung turned around because he got a bit scared.
"no not yet, i'm gonna practice a bit."

"you have literally been staying after class for this entire week and some of last week." the older started moving toward the younger

wooyoung however did not stop dancing only slowing down to reply to san.

"i'll be okay. i will be at home when i'm done."

"well at least let me practice with you" san said looking into the big mirror

"n-no, you don't have to." wooyoung stopped dancing

"ah come on woo, i can help you if you need help. it'll be fun" san said

wooyoung thought about it for a second and said

"okay. well i actually do need some help"

san hummed and asked him what he needed help on

"i need help on this move." he couldn't quite remember exactly what move it was but he tried his best.

"oh okay. well here. just put your feet like this and your hands right here." he demonstrated the dance move

wooyoung was in awe. the couple weeks they have been in dance class, he couldn't help but to notice how good san was at dancing.

"i can't do it that well." wooyoung rubbed his face with his hands.

san chuckled before gently grabbing wooyoung's hands to take them off his face.

wooyoung looked up at the other boy and san let go of his hands and said,
"wooyoung, you are an absolutely amazing dancer. i honestly don't know why you feel the need to practice so much when you are already so talented. i'm worried that you will only hurt yourself if you keep practicing for so long after class. please trust me that you are a really good dancer." san gave a smile to wooyoung looking him in the eyes.

wooyoung had no idea what to say or how to react.

"thank you san. that really means a lot. i'm sorry for staying for so long after dance. i am just very worried that i won't be good enough." wooyoung said with a pout.

san replied by saying
"well everyone will see theirselves in a different way than anyone else would see them. you may think you are bad at something because your mind tells you that but you're honestly not."

wooyoung felt so grateful towards his roommate and without thinking, he gave san a big hug because he thought it was necessary.
in the short time they have been roommates and friend, san would always give the best advice as he was just so good with words.
he didn't know why he was hugging san but wooyoung didn't really care.

he pulled away and the boys both smiled.

"okay, how about we practice a few more times and then we can go home." san offered

"sounds good"

with that said, both boys practiced a bit more and wooyoung felt so much better.

their practicing was mostly of them laughing and joking around but they did make sure to actually practice the dance moves.

wooyoung felt so grateful towards san and was glad that he stayed after class too
