Sziasztok!
I'm here again. Here comes the next lesson:
On something: -on, -ön
For example: asztalon, függönyön (on the table, on the curtain)
In sg.: -ban, -ben
F.e.: ágyban, helyben
(In bed, in place)
Into sg.: -ba,-be
F.e.: házba, épületbe
(Into the house, into the building)
Onto sg.: -ra, -re
F.e.: asztalra, székre
(Onto the table, onto the chair)We use them when we describe something. We use preverbs when we do something but be careful! If we did it we must use these words to describe the situation after it. For example:
I put a box onto the table.
Ráraktam egy dobozt az asztalra.
Rakni- to put
Doboz-box (-t is object suffix)
Asztal-table
+-ra!!!!We used the preverb rá- but we used asztal(ra) after it.
Here are the preverbs (not all):
Rá-
Be-
Ki-
Le-
Fel-
Bele-
Vissza-
Oda-
Stb.These are like:
Onto-rá
In-be
Out-ki
Down-le
Up-fel
Into-bele
Back-vissza
There-oda
Ect.We use them before a verb!!!
Tesz-put
Betesz (vmit)
(He) puts in (sg)Kitesz
Puts outVisszatesz
Puts backOdatesz
Puts there
Stb.
+the right form of the verbsWe use suffixes after nouns!!!
Házba
Into the house
Székre
Onto the chair
Stb.Is it clear? Not yet?
Anyway we also use postpositions.
We use them with nouns!!!
Under-alatt
Next to-mellett
Between-között
In front of-előtt
Behind-mögöttWe use them after the nouns.
After them!Az ágy alatt
Under the bedA tábla mögött
Behind the boardA kréta mellett
Next to the chalkA ház előtt
In front of the houseAz asztal és a szék között.
Between the table and the chair.Articles:
You use the 'the' before words. We use a/az. It depends that the word begins with a vowel or a consonant.
For example:
Az ágy
The bedA szék
The chairSimple. We use them the opposite way. You use a/an for one sg. We use egy.
Egy ágy
A bedEgy elefánt
An elephantEgy szék
A chairIt's funny isn't it? When I learnt english I always mixed them. I used a/an for a/az and 'the' for 'egy'. But it's incorrect!
I hope you understood it.
The next lesson will teach you the numbers.Sziasztok!👋💝🇭🇺
