Sziasztok.

I see some people took a look on it. I hope not everyone is Hungarian.😅

School/Iskola:

Let's begin it!

(ház-house)
Tanár-Teacher(male)
Tanárnő-Teacher(female)
Osztályfőnök-Classteacher
(főnök-boss)
Igazgató-Headmaster/(principal)

-ek/-ok/-ak/-ök is the plural

If the word ends with a vowel it's ok.

Igazgató+k
Tanárnő+k

But if it ends with a consonant...

Tanár+ok
Füzet+ek
Haj+ak

If it ends with 'a', it can turn into an 'á'. It WILL turn into an 'á'

Informatiká+k
Biológiá+k
Táská+k
Egyenruhá+k

But there are shorter versions too...

Történelm+ek (-e)
Osztályterm+ek (-e)

There are too much 'e's it seems.

Now. Let's see has got/have got in Hungarian language.

A tanárnak haja van.
The teacher's got hair.

So. We used haj+a, because we talk about 'he/she'.
Also we used '-nak' because it's a low sounded word.

Az osztályfőnöknek három szeme van.
The classteacher's got 3 eyes.

Szem+e, because he/she and it's a high sounded word.
That's also the explanation of '-nek'.

We don't use the words in plural after a number!

3 eyes
3 szem

2 birds
2 madár

5 teachers
5 tanár

A füzet az asztalon van.
The notebook is on the table.

-on because it's a low sounded word.

asztalon=on the table

A tanár az osztályteremben van.
The teacher is in the classroom.

-ben, because the end of the word is high sounded.

osztályteremben=in the classroom

on sg= -on/-en/-ön
in sg= -ban/-ben
has got/have got: -nak/-nek

+suffixes depends on the person (i/you/we/etc.)

Next time i'll write sentences. Only sentences.

Sziasztok! 👋💙🇭🇺
