Chapter 13

I'm awaken by the alarm of 6am on my phone. I quickly grab my phone to switch off the irritating alarm that's making a lot of noise.

I get up and immediately wear my sneakers and sweater then grab my phone and head downstairs.

Im walking down the stairs and their is a certain testy smell. Im standing in the living room looking around for Greg.

He suddenly appears from behind me and scares me to the core. I say nervously "Greg you scared me."

He smiles while chuckles" I'm sorry."

"Vanessa let's go eat. I cooked for you breakfast."

He grabs my arm not letting me speak and drags me to a door. We enter the room and its a small kitchen.

In the center is a small wooden table with breakfast prepared in it. I glare at Greg with a small smile completely shocked because he cooked.

Greg's a spoiled rich brat who has everything he wants and the last thing I thought he would do is cook.

He grabs my arm and pulls me towards the table then pulls a chair and I sit down.

He walks to the other side of the table and pulls a chair then sits down with a huge smile on his face.

I ask "why are you so happy today that you cooked?"

He chuckles "ooh I'm so happy today and I won't tell you why I'm happy."

I roll my eyes while saying "okay at least your happy that's great."

He says" well eat and tell me how it tests."

Suddenly, Greg's phone rings and he says frustratingly "why right now Barbie."

How can I forget about the deal I made with Barbie. I'm a type of person who never backs down on a deal.

He gets up while saying "I'll be back." he walks out of the room leaving me alone.

"I'm gonna tell Greg yeah I'm gonna tell k him." whispering to myself, trying hard to convince myself to tell Greg.

Why is it hard to tell Greg to leave me alone, am I getting atouched to him.
I give myself a small slap on the cheek while saying "you can do it Vanessa. I mean it's just Greg, tell him to leave you alone that's all."

I inhale then release a deep breath and suddenly Greg walks in and my heartbeat immediately increases.

He sits down and says "I'm sorry was talking to Barbie. Did you start eating or were you waiting for me."

I look at Greg and say "hmmmm about Barbie theirs something I need to tell you."

He says while groaning frustrated "you wanted to tell me something since yesterday. It must be very important."

I swallow hard then say "it's very important."

"it can wait after breakfast."

Greg's been giving me excuses since yesterday and I'm fed up of it.

I shout loudly "no! It can't wait Greg."

I stand up while saying "I'm leaving the hotel greg."

The room is left with immediate silent. Greg stares at me silent and and I stare back at him.

His analysing everything that I just said.
I had to say something "Greg I'll leave today and I promise you'll never see me ever again."

He stands up while banging the table and shout "but why? why are you leaving?"
