Chapter 22

Greg drives us to the hotel and for the rest of drive I was fast asleep. Greg wakes me up when we arrive.

We head into the hotel room and I quickly place my tired body on the bed.

"Vanessa move I'm also so tired." Greg says while yawning.

I move and Greg lays on the bed. After a while we both fall asleep.

I walk in the school premises through the gate then head into the school through the front glass slide door. I'm walking across the crowded hallway heading towards my locker.

Today Greg left early for school leaving me still asleep. I open my locker and grab my books then place them in my bag.

"Good morning Vanessa."

I quickly turn to see whose greeting me and it's Hannah. She's wearing a white crop top and a blue jean with white sneakers.

I respond, "good morning Hannah."

She says while smiling "I'm so happy."

I look at her confused and ask "happy about what?"

She walks closer to my ear then whispers "my crush talked to me today."

How can I forget that Hannah has a crush on Greg's buddy Andrew.

She moves back while holding her hair and smiling.

Suddenly, the bell rings and everyone starts going to the classes. I grab Hannah's hand and drug her to math class while saying "you'll fantasize about your imaginary boyfriend later, we need to go and learn some math."

After math class me and Hannah head to the basketball field to enjoy our breakfast. Today we aren't eating from the cafeteria. The basketball field had a few people walking around and some sitting on the grass, just like me and Hannah.

We sit on the grass and Hannah immediately start removing her food from her backpack.

I stare at her quietly as she starts eating her food. She asks while chewing her food, "Vanessa have you Ever been at the end of week days party?"

I stare confused and shocked. I shake my head disagreeing.

She rolls her eyes while saying "have you ever had fun in your life before?"

I node my head agreeing and say "yeah I have I love reading. Try it, it's fun."

"Every Friday a random cool kid will throw an epic party and everyone popular person is invited." She emphasizes the word popular.

I say while rolling my eyes sarcastically "ooh well that's good for them."

She holds both my shoulders tightly and starts shaking them while saying "you need to go Vanessa, it's like totally cool."

"Noooooo!" I say loudly and sternly.

"Vanessa I'm inviting you. I always go because I'm a cheerleader but I'm mostly bored since I have no one to talk to." She says while starring at me sadly.

She says while looking even more sad "Vanessa please come with me. I'm begging you."

"Fine I'll go with you!"

She smiles while saying "thank you. But you can't go like that."

I stand up while saying "what's wrong with the way I'm dressed."

She stands up and says "everything is wrong Vanessa, everything."

I shake my head disagreeing. She holds both my shoulders tightly and says "if you wanna come with me to this party, you'll need to change a bit."

I move back shocked while shaking my head quietly. I love the way I dress even though people say it's lame and terrible. Well I'm unique and outstanding.

She holds my hand and says "Vanessa think of it like a makeover." She smiles so widely after saying all that.

I node my head slowly. Maybe I need a makeover.

"But this makeover is only for today. Period!" I say the word period loudly and clearly.

She nodes her head with a huge smile on her face.

Suddenly, the bell rings startling us. We immediately pack our things and head into the school.

After all our classes me and Hannah decide to head to her house. She planning to give me a big makeover for the party. Hope everything turns out okay. Hopefully.....

Hannah and I reach her house. It's a nice white painted house with a small fence and a beautiful garden. We walk in the house.

"Welcome to my humble home." She says while starring at me. The house is simple and nice. The living room is exquisite. It's got red sofas and a plate screen television at the wall. Their is a huge staircase that leads upstairs.
Suddenly, a little blonde boy walks up to me.

His wearing a blue jean and a white hoodie. He says while starring at me, " you brought a guest Hannah."

She replies "yeah I did."

She looks at me and says "Vanessa this is Richard my little brother." She looks at Richard and says "Richard this is Vanessa my classmate and closest friend."

He smiles and says to me "nice to meet you."

Hannah grabs my hand and drags me upstairs. We reach upstairs and they are plenty of doors. She says while grabbing her keys from her backpack " don't think Richard is an angel, when guests are not around his a pain in the butt."

I smile softly while shaking my head. She opens the door and we walk in. Her room is pretty. Well it's a typical girls room. It's got pink walls behind it and in the middle is a huge bed with pink blankets.

She places her bag on her bed and says "get comfortable Vanessa."

I place my bag on her bed and sit on the sides. She opens the door that's at the left side of the room and walks into the room.

"Vanessa!" I hear her call me from the other small room. I walk to her and into the room.

As I walk into that small room that appeared to be a closet, my mouth is completely wide open. I'm shocked and amazed at the same time.
