Chapter 19

Greg's been driving for a while now not even talking to me. He gives me a few glares and still doesn't talk to me and I don't even dare taking to him.

I know Greg's not taking me to the hotel and I'm not speaking about it because he said this is the last time we'll ever talk or look at each other.

He finally pulls over after a while of driving and I sigh. He looks at me and says "Vanessa we're not at the hotel."

I look at him and rolls my eyes then say sarcastically "Greg I figured it out a long time ago."

He nodes his head and say "okay but I gonna need you to put this on." He grabs a cloth and shows it to me.

I stare at the black cloth that his trying to blindfold me with confused and ask "what's happening? Where are we and why did you bring me here?"

He smiles and replies "you always ask a lot of questions Vanessa. Just trust me."

I say while grabbing the cloth from Greg's hand "I'm only doing this because you promised this is the last time we'll ever talk or look at each other."

He nodes his head and says "okay yeah whatever."

I place the cloth blindfold around my eyes immediately covering my sight and not able to see anything.

Greg says "don't worry I'll take you there don't move."

I have no Idea where Greg's taking me and why his doing all this. I'm a bitch towards him and I'm rude and always insult him, still he doesn't give up.

He opens the passenger seat door and grabs my arm leading me out of the car. We've walked for a while now and I'm unable to see anything.

All I'm hearing is a lot of noise of kids laughing and screaming. I ask confusingly "where are we Greg?"

"Chill you'll see soon." He whispers in my ear as we walk.

We finally stop moving and I'm impatiently waiting for Greg to take my blindfold off.

He says "I'm gonna need you to count till three."

I start counting slowly "1" and Greg places his hands around my eyes. "2" Greg unties the blindfold and "3" Greg removes the blindfold.

In front of me is a huge gate with a colorful sign that says "carnival." My eyes are widen from being in a complete shock.

He says while standing in front of me "surprise." I look at him and say "so you brought me here because I said I never had a normal childhood."

He looks back at me and our eyes lock then says "yeah Vanessa before you and I part our ways I just wanna show you a little fun. I know what I said early in the morning was not right and i apologize for that in this way."

He points at the huge gate and right now I'm impatiently wanting to run in there and have a blast but again Greg will feel himself so much.

I stare at the gate and ask "why are you doing this?" I had to ask this question because Greg's done a lot for me and I haven't even done a single thing for him in return.

He replies "because you've never been at a carnival before. So I've brought you here."
He replies a bit nervous.

I node my head with a smile and say "yeah you're right I've never been here before. You know that I've never done anything fun in my life."

She says grabbing my arm "well then let's start having fun." He drags me inside the huge gate.

I've always dreamed of coming here, I've never been here and I've heard of many stories about this place. For instance the roller coaster ride which most people talk about and candy floss even though it's just sugar people still love it knowing it will give them diabetes.

I'm looking all over the place and it amazing, their are a lot of huge roller coasters in different shapes and sizes. The place is packed with a lot of people others playing games and others riding the roller coasters.

I've always wanted to ride the roller coasters but my father didn't let me. He says having so much fun can ruin your future. Guess he was wrong.

Greg asks "where do you wanna start first?"
I reply looking all over "everywhere."

Greg grabs my arm and pulls me into the huge crowd of people. He finally stops dragging me. We're standing in front of small open shop.

Their are balls in front of us and at the end is a basket. A man suddenly appears in front of us and says looking at Greg "welcome. If you score five straight games you'll win a huge teddy bear for your girlfriend."

Did he just say girlfriend, my face is suddenly heating up. Greg looks shocked and nervous when he hears girlfriend in the sentence.

He denies "I'm not her boyfriend and she's not my girlfriend."

I node my head and say "exactly." Trying so hard not to blush. The man shakes his head and says "okay but soon you'll be boyfriend and girlfriend after this game."

We both out of the blue suddenly shout "no!"
And look at each other then look away.

He says smiling "cute. Okay the game now 5dollars for one ball."

Greg looks at me and says "I'll win a huge teddy bear for you."

I basically didn't care if he won it for me or not but anyway let's see him play. I say faking a smile "okay."

He removes 5dollars from his pocket and the man in front of us hands him a ball. He aims and tries to score but the ball doesn't enter.

I couldn't resist smiling, I look at Greg and say "where's the teddy bear or you didn't Win one."
I say all that sarcastically.

He looks at me furiously and removes 5dollars and looks at the man in front of us then says "another ball."

The man hands Greg a ball and I misses again. This time I don't smile, I laugh out loud while looking at Greg.

Greg doesn't give up and still keeps on playing and losing. I laughing at him, his got a lot of pride and it's being squashed.

I say after a while of watching him lose "you're the head of the basketball team but you can't score a basket."

He says while looking at me angrily "I can and I'll prove it to you."

I say "no actually stop, I'll score the basket and win you a teddy bear. Since you can't."

He moves back and I move forward, I remove five dollars from my pocket and the man hands me the ball. I look at Greg and say while aiming  "all you did wrong was aim wrongly. First of all your back was slanting in front and secondly your angle was miscalculated."

I throw the ball and it enters the basket quickly and Greg looks at me shocked. He says "so all I needed was a little of math I guess."

I node my head agreeing and say "you need to start studying or you'll fail both math and basketball."

Greg looks at me while shaking his head and rolling his eyes. I score four more times and the man hands me the huge pink teddy bear and I hand it over to Greg.

I say while smiling "that's your teddy bear little sister."

Greg says while throwing the teddy bear on the ground "I've had it with your constant bullying. You'll see what I'll do to you when I catch you."

I look at him shocked and confused, he runs towards me and I immediately run away. I'm running because I don't wanna see what Greg will do after he catches me.
