Trix's room is across from the master

I ran into the house then shut the door behind me, hearing the kids yell outside.

"Bella?" I looked at Sarah as she came out of her workshop, then I smiled at her.

"Hi, Sarah." I said and ran upstairs, throwing my backpack onto the ground and shutting my door. I grabbed my books then started my homework, but I couldn't figure out my stupid math homework.

"Bella, come eat!" I looked at the door, then glared and moved to my book, reading a few of the pages. Maybe Jeff can help me with my math.

"Bella, dinner!" Bob called, but I ignored him and continued to read.

"Bellatrix Monroe, come eat!" Sarah yelled, then I got up and opened my door.

"MY NAME IS BELLATRIX BRIGHT! AND I'M NOT EATING!" I yelled and slammed the door, locking it too.

"YOUNG LADY, GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" Sarah screamed, but I ignored her and covered my ears as I read.

"Bellatrix, open this door right-"

"Sarah, leave her!" Bob yelled, then I uncovered my ears and looked at the door.

"She's-"

"She's just trying to adjust. She just lost her mother, was thrown into some strange house across the state, and she's in a new school. Give her time, and she'll come around." He said then I heard Sarah leave, but he stayed.

"Bella, sweetie, dinner will be in the microwave when you want it. Just press the button to reheat it, okay?" He waited for a second, but he left when I didn't answer. I sighed and went back to reading, staying up until Jeff came in my window again.

"Jeff!" I quietly cheered as he pushed his hood back, then he grabbed my math and eyed me.

"Why isn't this done, Trix?"

"Because I don't know how to do it. Can you help me?" I asked, then he sighed, sitting on the ground and waving me over. I grinned and ran to him, sitting next to him.

"Alright, want to know a trick I learned when I was in school?" I nodded, and he showed me how to do multiplication.

"There, now you try." He said, and I grabbed the pencil, doing the next problem.

"Is that right?" I asked, looking up at him, then he nodded and smiled.

"Yeah, Trix, that's right." I smiled, then my stomach grumbled.

"Did you eat?" I shook my head then he glanced at the door.

"Come on, let's get you food, but we gotta be quiet. Okay?" I nodded, then he stood and lifted me onto his back, holding me tightly as he slowly walked to my door. He opened it then I looked at Bob's and Sarah's door to see it was closed.

"Shh." I whispered to Jeff, and he nodded, tiptoeing down the stairs.

"Bob says my dinner is in the microwave, and I just need to reheat it." I whispered, and Jeff nodded, sitting me on the counter, then going to the microwave, heating my food for me.

"Bella?!" I heard Bob call and looked at the stairs.

"Yes, Bob?!" I called as Jeff hid in a corner, then Bob came down the steps some.

"Are you eating now?!"

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep!" I called then heard him lightly laugh.

"Alright, just try and be quiet. You don't want to wake Sarah, okay?"

"Okay." I said, then he went upstairs, and Jeff slowly came out of hiding, grabbing my food for me.

"Here, don't eat too quickly, or you'll get a stomach ache, okay?" I nodded as he grabbed a fork, and I ate my dinner. Once I was done, he lifted me and took me back upstairs, and then he laid me in my bed.

"Get some sleep, kid."

"Can you tell me a story, Jeff? I wanna hear about your friends again. I like hearing about them." I said, and he nodded, brushing my hair back as he shut my lamp off.

"Alright, but you need to go to sleep." I nodded then closed my eyes as he told me about his friends Masky and Toby.
