After a long, well deserved hot shower, Kate just layed on her back on her bed, looking at the ceiling, she then put both hands over her face. The voicemail kept replaying over and over in her head, she finally decided that she was going to text Steven.
Kate: "hey"
Steven: "hey baby, thanks for texting me back, I'm so sorry I brought it up, I'll never bring it up again, unless, ofcourse ,you want to, Ok?"
Kate: "Okay"
Steven: " Are we good now?" Cause I miss you, I wanna see you.
(Typing.........................)
Kate kept typing and erasing, she did this a few times, trying not to ask him about the girl at the coffee shop, but she really wanted to know so Kate asked;
Kate: Where were you Thursday Stev?
Kate hoped that he would tell her the truth, that he would tell her exactly what she saw, that she was a friend and subvert the part of her mind that was telling her what she feared.....that he's cheating.
(Typing......................)
Just as Kate did Steven type and erased several times, In that time Kate wondered, why it was taking him so long to respond? it shouldn't be very hard for him to just tell me where he was. After a long while he responded;
Steven: "I was at school babe"
Kate: For the whole day?
Steven: Yea babe, why?
Steven: Babe?
Steven: baby?
Steven: Katey?
Kate could not find the words to respond to Steven, after now realising that indeed he has been cheating on her...why? How long has this been going on? How could I not have seen it? I thought he loved me... how could he do this?
A thousand thoughts circulated In her head, and though she felt the urge to break down and cry, she told herself to be strong.
Kate finally responded to Steven and said " I saw you at the coffee house with the blonde, it's over Steven. After all we've been through? After all this time? Don't ever call me again!!!!
It was a bright and peaceful Sunday morning, Kim sat on her porch talking to Tim, who was coming home and said he was gonna be visiting. Kim was not only excited to see him but that they'll get to have sex lots and lots of sex. Kim was an only child, her parents travel alot so she mostly has the house to herself. Kim's phone beeped several times she had another incoming call, she placed Tim on hold and answered the call which was from Steven.
"She knows" he said.
