Characters- Pepper Potts, Susan Storm, Alex Summers, Umbrigde, Alex McCoy, Logan and others
--------------------It wasn't uncommon for Tony, Reed or Bruce to be out. Whether they were "sick" or had some meeting, at least everyone other week they were out once.
Alex Summers, however, didn't mind. Whenever Susan Storm and Pepper Potts substituted, class was different then when Bruce and Reed taught it.
Alex walked into class, thinking of how much of a Bozo Hank McCoy was.
"Mr. Summers is it?" Alex grinned.
"Or Havok." Susan rolled her eyes. She and Pepper both knew how much some X-men loved their codenames.
"Havok, have a seat." Alex took his next to Leo Valdez.
"Hey Valdez."
"Sup Summers?" Leo Valdez looked at the test tubes closely. There seemed to be something at the bottom of it.....
"Good morning class."
"Good morning Miss. Potts." Pepper smiled at the group of heroes before her. As she was normally getting ready for some big meeting, or running Stark Industries, she didn't have much time to meet the superhero community.
"As you can see, Dr. Banner and Dr. Richards are out today."
"So Miss. Pots and I will be teaching in my place of-."
"Eh em." Susan nearly groaned out loud. She had hoped that Umbrigde wouldn't come around, but, of course, that wasn't the case. She just wanted to wrap Umbrigde in a force field and have Jonny go supernova like they did to Doc Doom.
"Hello Professor Umbrigde. I assume you here to evaluate Sue and I?" Pepper asked, pulling out a clipboard of her own and scribbling something down. Umbrigde shifted slightly. She wasn't used to having people be ready for her, much less being right about why she was there.
"That is correct Ms. Potts." Pepper forced a smile.
"As you probably know, Dr. Banner and Dr. Richards are out today-."
"And why is that exactly?" Sue mentally rolled her eyes.
"It's classified information. I suggest you ask Director Fury if you want answers." Umbrigde scribbled something down and Sue turned to look at the class.
"Dr. Banner did not leave a class message, however Dr. Richards did. As you know, in Tech Lab you are working on-."
"Or going to be working on." Pepper quickly added. She knew Tony wasn't the best at lesson plans. Or plans.
"Making electronics that work with magic. Now, Reed thinks-."
"Eh em."
"What is it?" This time....Pepper wondered.
"Why, exactly are you trying to make muggle electronics work with magic?" Sue frowned. What was a Muggle?
Pepper forced a smile.
"Simply because us Muggles, use a electronics for a lot of things." Pepper gave another fake smile before continuing.
"Now, on each side of the room are the chemicals Reed and Bruce think you will need. Please take a few, and test them out at your stations." The students stood up and started getting ready.
"Please don't forget your safety goggles and your protective gear." Sue said.
Alex Summers walked over and looked at the chemicals. He grabbed the red one, another red one, and a blue one.
"So, it is my understanding that you are married to Mr. Richards?" Alex looked over and grinned. This should be good.
"Um....actually we aren't married yet. Too many....complications." Sue said. She was bummed she and Reed hadn't managed to get married yet, but this was sorta personal.
"And what about you Ms. Potts? Are you married to Mr. Stark?" Pepper shook her head.
"No, I'm not." Umbrigde scribbled something down.
Alex Summers poured his chemicals in to a test tube and lit the thing on fire. In truth, he had no idea what he was doing. But he did know when his chemicals started to glow and shake, it was a bad thing.
"Uh.....Ms. Storm? My uh....chemicals aren't supposed to do that." Susan looked over.
"No, no it's not." Sue focused, trapping the chemicals in a force field.
"Everyone out!!" She ordered. Everyone ran, knowing that in the science lab, when things went boom, they went BOOM.
All expect Umbrigde of course.
"How brave of you to save the children like that." Sue twitched slightly. It was hard to focus with a nag muttering stuff in her ear.
"I do this all the time. Now will you please leave?" She snapped. Pepper rushed in. Followed by a ton of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
"Ms. Storm. Move yourself over here and let go. We'll do the rest." Coulson said. Sue nodded, slowly moving her way towards the door.
Meanwhile, outside, Alex Summers was heading to his next class, fully aware that they weren't going to use the science lab for a while.
Alex kept walking, knowing he would probably get a detention, but he didn't mind.
Until he ran into Logan.
"What are you doing here?!" Alex exclaimed. Logan raised an eyebrow.
"Helping with teaching. What are you doing here?" Alex quickly thought of a story.
"Walking.,..back to class....?" Logan looked down at the schedule Alex had in his hand.
"Science class is that way." Alex sighed and walked back to the science lab, Logan trailing behind him.
In the science lab, Sue Storm had let go of the chemicals, and the S.H.I.E.L.D agents were trying to contain them.
"In the future class, I suggest you don't mix those two chemicals together." Pepper said. The class laughed while Umbrigde huffed in annoyance.
Logan grabbed Alex's arm and walked him up to Sue and Pepper.
"This little guy was wondering around." Pepper nodded.
"Thank you Logan."
"Eh em." Logan looked at Umbrigde.
"Who the hell are you?" He asked. Umbrigde quickly scribbled something down and started making her way to Dumbledore's office to complain about his choice in teachers.
