SHS: Thanksgiving

Today, was Thanksgiving. A time for being thankful. Some teachers gave students a free period if they were doing well in their class.

Others, did not.

But never mind the poor students who actually had classes that day. Thanksgiving, as always, was about the food.

Students purposely skipped breakfast and lunch just to make sure they had enough room for the Thanksgiving feast.

And finally, it was dinner time.

The Great Hall were the meals were severed was made about two times bigger, and there were two tables going down the room. Each student grabbed a plate, grabbed some food and dug in.

"May I have your attention please?" The hall went silent and everyone looked at Professor Dumbledore.

"Through Thanksgiving is more of an American holiday, some of my American colleagues have convinced me to have a Thanksgiving meal! So, I want everyone to be thankful for what they have, and to be thankful for their friends and family. Thank you, and that is all." The students continued talking, stuffing their faces with the delicious food made by the house elves.

"I love House Elves!!" Percy Jackson exclaimed, stuffing his face with mash potatoes. Hermione, rolled her eyes and began to explain S.P.E.W, which quickly lost the demigods attention.

"Wait till we get to dessert mate." Ron Weasley said. It was no surprise to anyone that he was enjoying the food.

"Um..yea, can I have everyone's attention please?" Everyone turned to the famous Tony Stark, who was standing with a wine glass in his hand, with Steve Rogers (he was helping in gym class that day) shaking his head sitting next to him.

"Um....yea. Capscicle here thinks I don't know how to be grateful, and he's.......somewhat right." The students chuckled, with the exception of the few who rolled their eyes.

"Now, I, being me, stood up to prove Cap here wrong! And to prove that I can be grateful!" The ones who looked up to him cheered, while the rest faceplamed.

"And, I must admit, I didn't admit stuff this often, but here it goes." Tony took a sip of his wine and started his speech.

"I am grateful for JARVIS-."

'Thank you sir.'

"No problem, and I am thankful for Pepper, not killing me yet-." Everyone laughed.

"I'm thankful for that missile not killing me, and um....I'm thankful being an awesome member of the Avengers!!!" Everyone cheered. Well, almost everyone cheered. Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean and Hermione Granger, along with a few others just rolled their eyes.

"And....yea. That's pretty much it." Tony sipped his wine and sat back down.

"Is every Avenger gonna do that? Cause I'm curious to know what Bruce Banner is thankful for." Peter Parker said.

"And now, for the desserts!!" The food vanished, only to be replaced by Pecan Pie, ice cream, Apple pie, and tons of other desserts.

However, before anyone could touch anything, Hawkeye, also known as Clint Barton stuck a pie on his arrow and said

"Thank this Stark!!" The pie hit the stunned billionaire in the face, starting the food fight.

So none of the desserts where eaten. Just thrown.
