Sam Wilson

Today, was a free day.

Basically, Professor Dumbledore gave us a day to do whatever we wanted. With or with out our powers. Some kids went ice skating in the Quidditch stadium, or in the lake in the middle of the forest, courtesy of Bobby Drake. Other kids pulled pranks on each other, and other kids studied.

I, went for a fly.

It felt good to have my wings back, and not be limited to the space of the gym. Not to mention it gave me plenty of time to think....

"And your...codename is?"

"Falcon." Umbrigde nodded.

"And how did you get this codename?" I swallowed, slightly nervous. At the S.H.I.E.L.D academy, they taught you how to deal with interrogations. Unfortunately, I was sick that week.

"My wings. They're like a Falcons, as I designed them that way. And my outfit sorta let's me look like one." She nodded.

"Now what's your real name?" Um...she should know this, I only told her like four times.

"Sam Wilson. Like I said."

"Anyone else's name you know?" I shook my head.

"No." It was their place to say, not mine.

"You may go Mr. Wilson." I walked out the door.

I spiraled towards the ground, then pulled up at the last second. Umbrigde wasn't the only thing on my mind. The second thing was sorta one of those bitter sweet things.

Especially since this one was a girl....

"Today, you will be continuing your research on mutagen. Wilson, because you moved classes with Parker, your new partner will be Miss. Chase." I swallowed nervously, looking at Annabeth. She was everything I could ask for in a girl, but unfortunately for me, she was taken. And I didn't like the idea of taking Percy Jackson's girl.

"Hey. I'm Annabeth." I smiled, taking her hand.

"I know who you are. Your in my gym class. Daughter of Athena right?" She nodded.

"Right. Now Pete and I haven't gotten far because of my...uh..."

"Arachnophobia?" She nodded, smiling. Her gray eyes seemed to sparkle....or maybe it was the trick of the light.

"Yea. So, how far have you gotten?"

"Well, I actually started breaking down the-."

"Molecules to see-."

"How they interacted-."

"With organic-."

"Life forms!" We finished in unison. I chucked, nodding. The only persons I could talk to about science like this was....well, actually a few people now, but none of them were girls....actually, there was this one Agent.....well, you get my point.

"That's a great idea. What have you been using as the....organic life form?"

"Well...I actually haven't gotten to that part yet because of how highly dangerous this stuff is." She frowned, thinking. I could actually see gears turning in her head.
