He was on fire.
He held Violet against him, his hands roaming around her curves. God how he had wanted to do this for so long. This was how he should have done it the first time. Properly. He felt something deep in his chest when she nibbled slightly against his lips. He parted her lips with his and went in to taste her, something he had wanted to do since the first time he'd kissed her.
Fuck if it wasn't one of the best feelings in the world.
He'd despised himself for the way he treated her. The whole time they were on tour, Violet was in his head, nagging him at the back of his mind as he'd tried to enjoy shows, parties, and women. But none of them satisfied him enough. Until now. Holding this small girl in his arms. He felt a little bit more complete. He'd missed her so much and when he heard that Rose would be bringing her to the party tonight, he'd resolved to make things right with Violet. And then seeing her there, standing in front of him in that dress, one that showed off her curves to perfection, and her big doe-eyes looking up at him? She left him speechless. Something that was hard to do when it came to Matty Healy. He felt her sigh into his mouth and he gripped her hips tighter.
"Come with me," he murmured into her ear. He let go of all of her but her hand as he lead her out of the main room of the venue where the party was being held and up a flight of stairs. The room he lead them to was huge and it had one of the the best views of the city Matty had ever seen. There were a few black leather chairs and a black couch sitting atop the deep hardwood floor, all facing the window, but other than that the huge room was empty. He pulled her into the room and lead her to the couch. When he looked back down at her, he found her eyes wide with...fear? Nerves, maybe? He pulled her hand up to his lips and kissed it softly, "we won't do anything you're not comfortable with," he promised her. She nodded and allowed him to pull her down on the couch next to him. The two of them stared out at the skyline, taking in the view, before he turned back to her.
"Violet-" he began, but she cut him off by pressing her lips against his, firmly. He wasn't about to deter her from kissing him, so he pushed what he wanted to tell her to the back of his mind and wrapped his arm around her, using his other hand to tilt her chin up with his thumb.
"Oh fuck," he hissed as he pulled her against him harder, pretty much on his lap, as he laid down on the couch, his mouth never breaking away from hers. He sat back up and moved his lips down to her jaw and the side of her neck as he leaned forward and pushed her back gently onto the couch and shifting so he was hovering over her slightly. The little noises she made as he trailed his lips across her jaw and neck nearly sent him right there. His pants felt too tight, but he was waiting for Violet to make the first move on that, something he didn't anticipate happening tonight. He didn't even care though. They had time. They had as much time as they needed.
Violet gasped as he sucked on the base of her neck, where her neck met her shoulder, lightly, and Matty groaned. Fuck. He knew that if they didn't stop now, he would lose control, and that was something he didn't want to do around her. He wouldn't scare her away like last time. He broke away from her, gasping for breath as he sat both of them up gently, Violet still in his lap slightly.
"Why did you stop?" She frowned. He admired the way her lips were swollen from his kisses, swiping his thumb across her bottom lip lightly.
"If I don't stop now, I'm going to want to do something that I'm not sure you're ready for quite yet," he murmured into her neck.
"Oh," she gasped. He smirked against her shoulder as she realized what he meant. "In fact," he put his hand under her legs and lifted her from her precious position where she was basically straddling him, and set her next to him. Her eyes widened as she realized why he had done what he had done and he caught a slight blush on her cheeks, even in the dark of the room.
"So...you don't want to, then?" She asked. He smirked again. He could tell that she was slightly disappointed.
He shook his head, "why rush it?" He asked her, "we have time."
She closed her eyes and rested her head against his shoulder and the two of them looked out at the city, the lights sparkling against the night sky, and for the first time in a very long time, Matty was glad to be home from a tour.
