"Hello class, I'm Mr. Anderson, and I am your class facilitator." The class openly groaned and I had to laugh. "Now, I know what you are thinking. I'm going to give you horrible groups and make you do stuff college kids don't do. Well-" The tall, thin, brunette teacher paused before continuing. "-That's not what I am here for. I am here to take attendance, facilitate work in groups that YOU choose, and collect any paper homework your classes are having you do. I am also going to grade your homework, conduct tests and be your pretty much personal tutor. If you need help, my schedule is open except for the day before or the day after a test. And of course if something comes up where I can't be here." He smiled ad smoothed his navy blue shirt and beige tie. "And one more thing before you start: who has the room colors of navy blue or hunter green? Just stand up." Me, Brianna and her troupe, and one boy I didn't know stood up. "Very good. Just wondering. Okay, begin your work, and once you have finished, you may tell me, and then you are free to go until your next scheduled event. And keep talking limited to one other person for the class today. Now less talking, more work!"

And with that, he left us to our school work. I opened up my math page and looked at the assignments.

(LESSON 9.6 IN YOUR BOOK, DO PRACTICE PROBLEMS) Well, that wasn't a lot. I read the lesson, it was super easy, basically a review of what I did last year. There were 28 questions, so I answered them, making sure to record my work on paper and put it in my messenger bag neatly. On to history.

I looked at the history assignment and silently groaned, even though everybody else in the room was still on math. (READ THE PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION. RE-WRITE IT AND EXPLAIN WHY YOU ADDED OR TOOK AWAY WHAT YOU DID.)
So, I added nothing and took away something about providing for war, but that was it. I then explained. Blah blah blah, boring stuff. I was almost asleep by the time I moved on to science.

(READ LESSON TWO AND ANSWER QUESTIONS ONE THROUGH TEN. THE LESSON IS TITLED "ICE FRACTURES AND THEIR IMPACT ON SURROUNDING AREAS.") ohhhh joy. I quickly scanned over the 20 page section, then looked back to answer the questions. If I finished this, I wouldn't have homework, and the other subjects, except for reading, didn't have homework except before a test.

Reading was the easiest. (READ CHAPTERS ONE AND TWO OF THE PIGMAN. ANSWER JOURNAL ENTRY NUMBER ONE. HOMEWORK:READ CHAPTERS TWO TO FIVE AND ANSWER END OF CHAPTER QUESTIONS.) I read the Pigman ch1, and answered the journal entry. I then submitted my work and told Mr. Anderson that I was done. He smiled and marked me off on the list. I left and continued on with my day.

Hmmm two hours. What can I do in that amount of time?
