so-hyuns' eyes watered as the evening wind hit her face.

she had left the house with the goal of getting snacks from the store and coming home, but found herself on the edge of the bridge her family died on.

her sorrow had finally devoured all the light she had in her life, and she could no longer feel anything.

everything was empty, hollow.

so-hyun has always tried to fight the emptyness inside of her, ever since she was 9 years old. she really tried, but she had no fight left in her.

she could only think of the freedom she would feel when she finally leaves the earth as she slides her feet closer and closer to the edge of the bridge. she was so close, until she heard something that she'll never forget.

"stop! lee so-hyun, stop!"

it was the screams of kim taehyung as he ran as fast as he could along the side of the bridge, ignoring all of the honks from cars annoyed by his loud screams.

so-hyun, startled by the sudden interruption, fell backwards from the ledge. taehyung got there just in time, catching her from the back. confused, she asked the question that would unfold the fate of the rest of her life.

"excuse me, who are you?"
