after taehyung had left, so-hyun couldn't understand why her heart was beating so fast.

she had never been the most aware of herself when it came to her feelings, but she had always been able to know the feeling of her fast heartbeat when she was scared, and this was totally different.

when she was standing on the ledge of that bridge, she felt completely hollow, but after taehyung had pulled her away from the bridge, she felt like her heart was unfreezing in a way.

she barely knew anything about him, but something about him really stood out to her, and that was his eyes.

they wouldn't stop shining.

ever since she started to see ghosts, she could also tell how someone felt about anything they're looking at by how much their eyes shine.

it isn't like their eyes are physically shining, but the way their body corresponds with their eyes in a way where so-hyun can tell how they feel.

to this day, she still doesn't understand why she has this sort of power when it has nothing to do with seeing ghosts.

taehyung's eyes really stand out from the rest though. they are unbelievably shiny, but they only shine when she gets close to him.

she has this very slim understanding of why, but she can tell that she should keep him around.

she grabs her phone and texts him.

so-hyun: hey taehyung, do
you think we could meet
up? i wanna talk to you
about something.

taehyung: of course! i have
2 hours left at work, but
can we meet up at around
6pm? i'll send you my address.

taehyung:

work hard :)

so-hyun was happy. after so many years of living alone and in constant fear of the ghosts around her, she is finally feeling happiness once again.

she doesn't know what makes taehyung any different, but she has a feeling he won't care that she can see ghosts.

and that feeling is very strong.
