3rd POV

The two friends are laying on their backs on the small bed in Alex's room. Surprisingly, neither of them have fallen off the bed, maybe it's the fact that their legs are intertwined with each other, holding them in their current position.

They both lay there, talking, faint music playing in the background. This is what they most love to do when they hang out. As long as the two of them are together they don't care what they do.

"Okay, okay, I have another one for you, would you rather have all your teeth fall out or all your hair fall out?" y/n says and turns to look at Alex.

"Definitely my teeth. I wouldn't be my charming self without my hair" Alex says and runs his hands through his hair.

"Hmm...I don't know if I would still be your friend if you didn't have teeth" y/n says and squeezes Alex's face with one of her hands. Alex scrunches his face up in response to her comment.

"Your turn to ask one" y/n says and let's Alex's face go so he can say a question.

"Hmm...okay I got one, would you rather
be able to tell what everyone is thinking or see everyone's future?" Alex asks. This one makes y/n think for a while, but she figures out her answer.

"Tell what everyone is thinking, I want to know their thoughts when i'm talking to them or even around them" y/n says and then looks at Alex.

"Alright what am I thinking right this moment?" Alex asks playfully. Y/N sits up on the bed and looks down towards Alex. She looks at him with a puzzled look and then places her hand on his forehead, as if trying to "read his mind". She then removes her hand and speaks up.

"Right now you are thinking that I am the best human on this planet and that you should probably get me the snacks I love" y/n says playfully and laughs as she finishes her sentence. Alex looks at her weirdly and laughs with her too. Once they both get their laughter under control, Alex speaks up.

"You were close, missing a few things" Alex says.

"Okay what did I miss" y/n says and moves to sit crisscrossed where she previously laid.

"I'm thinking that you are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on" Alex says and sits up to lean on one elbow. The comment catches y/n off guard and causes her cheeks to flush a bright pink and for her hands to reach up and try cover her face.

"You can't say things like that without me knowing." y/n says still covering her face.

"Hey come on, let me see that face" Alex says and sits up and reaches out to move y/n's hands away from her face. Once he does, he holds her hands in his and looks at her flushed face.

"There we go, all better" Alex says and smiles at y/n. Y/N sits there and lets Alex stare at her. (totally not creepy)

"Let me play you a song i've been wanting you to hear for a while" Alex says and reaches for his phone. He goes to his music and looks for the one song that every time he plays it, it makes him think of y/n. He finds it and presses on it so it can begin playing.

The beginning chords of Make You Mine by Public fills the room that had surprisingly gone quiet for the first in the whole afternoon.

"Just listen to it please. And let me know what you think after." Alex says and looks at y/n. Y/N simply nods her head and smiles while she begins to listen to the song.
