Y/N's POV

Valentine's day was never really my thing. Going to school and seeing everyone with they're roses and chocolates and teddy bears was cute, yet also kind of annoying. That was until I got a boyfriend. Now I understand all of the fuss of valentine's day.

The morning of valentine's day I woke up and curled my h/l h/c hair. Once I finished I ran my fingers through my hair to loosen the curls. I then quickly did my makeup and got dressed in some dark wash skinny jeans, a light pink cropped long sleeve, and slipped on my white vans.

I looked at the gift that sat in the corner of my room. I couldn't wait for it to be the end of the day so I can give Alex his gift. We both agreed that it would be best for us to give each other our gifts after school, when we're alone and not surrounded by other people. We wanted our first valentine's to be special.

I get to school and wait for Alex by the entrance of the school. 15 minutes pass by and I see Alex pull up to school with Elena. I smile as I see how good he looks. As he walks up he says hi to his friends and other people he knows. But, when he looks at me, he stops saying hi to everyone and starts heading my way. I smile at him and wait for him to reach me.

"Well if it isn't my beautiful girlfriend" Alex says as he wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him. I laugh slightly and place my hands on his biceps, to keep my balance.

"Hi babe, happy valentine's day" I say and bring my hands up to his neck to hug him. He hugs me back really tight and burries his face in my neck.

"Happy valentine's day, baby" he whispers in my ear. As he speaks into my ear, his breath tickles my ear and makes me laughs slightly at the sensation. We pull back from the hug, but still remain very close. We both turn to look at the other students, and see a sea of red, white, pink.

"Are you excited to spend our first valentine's together as a couple" Alex says as he looks down at me.

"Yes, i'm so ready for you to see what I got you" I say and bounce slightly on my toes. Alex laughs at my excitement and wraps one of his arms over my shoulders. Just as I was about to place my head on his chest, the annoying school bell doesn't let me. I groan and pull away from Alex.

"So I guess, I can come over by your place after school so we can hang out" I say and hold onto one of his hands, not wanting to let go.

"Sure just text me when you're on your way" Alex says and as i'm about to walk away he pulls me back and pulls me into him. I smile up at him and lean up to kiss him. He meets me in the middle and we kiss for a few seconds before pulling back and heading our separate ways for the day.

The school day passes by fast. It's finally over and i'm standing outside with Alex while we both wait for our rides to get here.

"What time do you want me to come over?" I ask Alex as I play with his fingers.

"Whenever is fine, just let your mom know that you're gonna stay late so you can have dinner with us" Alex says. I nod my head and continue to look out into the busy parking lot. I then see my mom pull up. I turn to Alex and give him a quick hug and a 'see you later' and then head towards the car.

I get home and rush to my bedroom to drop off my backpack and fix up my appearance a little bit. I finish fixing up my makeup a little and head over to where the gift was placed in my room. I check over to make sure everything was good. I had gone to Build-A-Bear and made him a bear. I had also gotten him two t-shirts that he had always wanted. I got him some cologne and a hoodie that I will most likely end up stealing.
